Kicking things off.
Are we using the optional extra damage from high ranks/strength rules? If so, how are you ruling them to work?
-
You can use physical strength to increase the damage of Class B and Class C (except the sling) weapons per the optional rules. Class A weapons and the sling receive the damage bump at 4 and 8 per the optional rules.

New question! Brent, can you make sure Brett sees this?
Rules Cites
-If a Dwarf Ranger specializes in "Mountain" terrain, Ranger XP costs are halved. (Section 6.4.3)
-Rangers may specialize in "one of the environments listed in 67.1 as his specialty" (Section 64.6)
-Section 67.1 is only a reference to the Danger Table on page 102
-The Danger Table lists only the following environments: Cavern, Crypt, Field, Marsh, Plain, Ocean,Rough, Ruins, Waste, Woods.
Conclusion
-There is no "Mountain" terrain class. Errata is needed.
Solution/Question
-May Dwarves specialize in "Cavern/Mountain" as a terrain type to get their bonus?
-
Yes, your specialization would be cavern/mountains.
-
So my ranger specialty could be rough/mountains to represent surface survival skills in mountainous terrain?
