« on: March 29, 2017, 08:14:45 PM »

Intended repairs:
Replace Blackjack armor and repair engine hit
Replace Centurion armor and un-jam autocannon
Gladiator repairs:
reattach blown off arm [I know higher roll for using salvaged arm]
repair/replace jump jet
replace armor
wait until new arm arrives to replace RA [shoulder actuator hit]

My vet tech failed to remove damaged RA from the Gladiator.  He was, however, successful at removing all of the components from the arm.  At this point, what do I do?  Is the arm considered completely destroyed?  Do all of those removal of components rolls even matter?  Do I shoot my Phoenix Hawk's MG's at the arm to damage the remaining internal structure now that the components are removed?  Do I break it off and use it for a club?  Can I make another roll to replace the arm with the new arm that will arrive on June 29?

Additional repairs not including the RA.
Armor LA 15, reg tech, TN 3
Rolled 2d6 : 1, 1, total 2

Armor LT 10, reg tech, TN 3
Rolled 2d6 : 2, 5, total 7

Armor CT 7, reg tech, TN 3
Rolled 2d6 : 5, 2, total 7

Armor RT 16, reg tech, TN 3
Rolled 2d6 : 5, 6, total 11

Armor RL 2, reg tech, TN 3
Rolled 2d6 : 4, 3, total 7

You scrap the arm, but don't get to reclaim anything else from from the damaged arm once you scrap it. Scrapping is *free* but results in no recovery of materials or parts. You can remove parts up until the scrapping operation.

Basically the tech just gets a blowtorch and cuts the old part free.

Then you install the new one.

Do my rolls to remove parts apply? or are all the components scrap too?

Okay, Back to Centurion RA armor repair with vet tech [Tirto], dropship bay, double time, TN 3

Okay, Back to Centurion RA armor repair with vet tech [Tirto], dropship bay, double time, TN 3 This dice roll has been tampered with!
Rolled 2d6 : 5, 5, total 10

You successfully remove the parts from the arm. There is no roll to scrap the remaining internal structure attached to the destroyed shoulder actuator. It simply is removed and evaporates. Then the new arm is installed, then components, actuators and armor installed with rolls for each.

Wow.  Almost didn't get that arm on.  Okay, since the arm didn't arrive until June 29.  It took 3 days for both vet techs to install the arm and all of the stuff.  So the Gladiator is fully operational on evening of July 2.

Please see attached repair spreadsheet for calculations.

Phoenix Hawk high tails it to the dropship bay to repair RL armor.  6 hours later [double time/vet].  Per maint spreadsheet TN is 3.
