Alpha Omega / House Rule Discussion: Sniping Rule
« on: May 19, 2011, 11:55:45 AM »
I am officially opposed to the sniping rules - I think they make one-shot kills far too easy and I don't want them used against me.
For wielding, do you have to be standing, or simply in a static stance and remain in that static stance? Can I kneel, sit or lay down instead of standing as long as I'm already doing so and stay in the same stance?

GM Edit: Split topic so I can get a consensus.  Snipers are effectively useless in RAW since called shot rules frankly suck.

Unless there are any negative comments by Monday, I recommend we do this by acclimation. I have no problem with the leadership choices presented.

Shadowrun / Re: What we are doing with our downtime
« on: February 08, 2011, 10:12:16 PM »
Apologies for the short post - RP will follow.

<ooc> I will be initiating at level one, taking multi-tasking, and two additional levels of cloak (taking me to four). I will be taking level one of Arcana (knowledge skill) and raising my perception to level 2. I will also be working with Flick on our magic group and helping set up the facility</ooc>

I am actually stuck going to Huntsville again this week - please feel free to have Brent run my character if necessary.

Shadowrun / Re: Team base

Are we going to be using this as our primary residence as well?

In any case, I'd like to take comforts and probably entertainment up to a 3. I personally have no problem paying a little extra in Lifestyle so that I don't have to worry about incidental meals out and appropriate clothing for any situation.

Brent has just informed me that he has Runner's Companion in PDF form. I'll take a look there.

I like the idea of a team base, but would like a little rules clarification - does it count as living quarters? If so, how do we pick the lifestyle level? What would the maintenance costs be for it?

This list looks correct to me. I have no contacts that would be useful in this situation.
I am not opposed to two months downtime once all items are fenced.

She who makes the plans is in, and bringing KnightofArgh with me.
Now I'm actually going to have to read the 4e rules.
