So you want to run around with training ammo?  All the explosive bomb problems, none of the death dealing potential.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that, live ammo would be nice.

And now for the fun part.  I have attached the excel sheet, and if you select the Damage sheet tab, you can see just how many points it will take to fix which problems with the mechs.  We have several decisions to quickly make.

1)  How long are we staying here?  Its currently 1720.

I would suggest we stay here until 0600 tomorrow.  Sleep 6 hours, work in shifts on repair and guard.  We have three talented repair overseers in Callihan, Banzai, and Franklin.  Eat 2 times.  This should give us enough time to fix a lot, and still be ahead of the enemy.  Everyone needs to sleep.

2)  What gets repaired?

There are several possible ideas.  I am missing data on Rob and Bryan's mechs.  You can look at the sheet to see what various things will cost.

3)  Where are we going?

This will be delt with once the Major gets his act together.

I know how many pts. we have to repair, I don't know how long it will take to make (for instance one pt. of armor) repairs. If we are planning on staying until 0600, we probably would have to be breaking camp around 0500. That gives us less than 12 hrs. to make any repairs. If we are given time from when we were briefed by Stastny, then our time would be greater. Whatever, we don't know how long repairs take. The foot actuator on the Lancelot just slows him down to a 5/8. Still faster than the T-bolt.

Rob, when do repairs need to be done by and posted?

Banzai will take a moment to configure his LAM's machine guns for rapid fire mode and changes his ammo request to 1 ton instead of 20 shots.

Initial Thoughts:

If we leave the 4/6 mechs behind, then we have enough points to repair everything.  However, I'm not keen on leaving the Warhammer and Thunderbolt behind in addition to the Devastator.  We really don't need everything repaired for the next scenario, just enough for us to capture a supply depot.  The engine hit on the Charger doesn't need to be repaired.

Our repair vees are also 4/6, so unless we leave them behind as well, there's no real benefit to dumping the mechs.

Wow, I'm having a bad week in terms of missing obvious stuff.

Does anyone know if "repair times" are in AToW or StratOps?  (Neither of which I own)  And are they much different from what is in Master Rules?

The rules for repair times are in StratOps, they're basically a tweaked version of the repair rules in the Battletech Master Rules.  However, I'm not sure if we're using those rules to determine repair time or if Rob is doing something more abstract.

Abstract repair times.  Essentially, I'm assuming that the Techs are sleeping during the day and working at night while you bivouac.  If there's not enough time to repair something, I'll always tell you up front.  Right now, you're good.

THIS IS REPAIR!!!  IF its for your PC than you distribute armor, I will post for the NPCs later.  If you object, too bad, If  you strenuously object, we can talk about it.

For starters, I only wanted to spend 400 points, and I spent every single one of them.  I had a lot of tough choices to make, and I think that this is the overall the best thing to do.  With that said.....

|Cpt Freund        | Griffin-2N-1 ton SRM6 ammo
|WO Hawker       | Crab-27b- nothing, not like you need anything
| Warhammer -7A- 50 pts armor, repair engine, and replace erPPC
| Wolverine-6R- 30 pts armor, 5 IS, and rearm SRM and AC

| Stinger-3G-12 pts armor
| Locust-1E- 4 points armor, 2 points IS--> strap something resembling an arm to the mech
| Locust-1S- none, nothing needed
|SRG El Amin       | Talon-5W- nothing needed

|SRG Marshall      | Champion-1Nb- nothing
| Archer-2R- 3 tons LRM ammo
| Blackjack-1- 20 points of armor, replace arm completely and all weapons
|WO Banzai         | Phoenix Hawk LAM- nothing, but see the note below

Prep Company   CO:  LT Reed  XO:  MSRG Schweeps
|Lt Reed             | Phoenix Hawk-1b-15 pts armor
| Griffin-2N-15 armor, 1 ton ammo
| Phoenix Hawk-1- gets nothing
|SRG Franklin       | Chameleon-7V-nothing, but see note

|SRG Callahan      | Shadowhawk-2Hb- rearm all ammo
| Shadowhawk-2H- rearm LRM and AC ammo
| Charger-1A1- 20 pts armor
| Crab-27-30 pts armor

|MSRG Schwepps  | Ostroc-1Cb- nothing
| Spartan-N1-74 pts armor, 1 ton AMS, 1ton SSRM
| Thunderbolt-5S- 2 tons LRM ammo
| Lancelot-1- 10 armor, repair foot

| Wasp=1A- 3 points of armor
| Kanga Jumping tank- replace all ammo except for MG ammo

|Thunderhawk 212- repair avionics, 4 points armor

For MG ammo
Pull 1/2 ton from Thunderbot, and give PHX-1b 34 shots, give PHX lam 33 shots, give CHM 33 shots.

These are final unless you object by midnight*

*of course, the GM can always object.

edit: attached the list showing expenditure, so Rob can check if he wants.  Its on damage sheet
