What does it mean by "non officer"? Is still MechWarrior in his force?

Anyone in Bright Lance who is an enlisted rank can take yo duel.  Remember that the enemy pilot and mech are adjusted based on whom and what you take; it's a scenario that specifically won't let you overload the enemy based solely on stats/mech mass/customization.

Let's reroll terrain again. Good thing I have a lot of rerolls   ;D

Terrain: Light Urban
Map: Town - Ruins

This means there will essentially be a CityTech Map - and maybe a City Ruins Map - which should have about 20 hexes of building on each map, and about 20 hexes worth of rubble.  The other two maps are medium terrain (often stuff like Classic Battletech maps or Open Terrain) - stuff that is reasonably balanced and isn't skewed in any given direction (like Archipelago or Large Mountain or Box Canyon).

I will be using my Blackjack BJ-3x Pilot Sgt Caleb Spears. I still need to do the repairs on it but it is only 2 pts armor RA and RL. Should be done easily.

Active Quirks:
All three SRM-4s have the Ammo Feed Problem negative Quirk. Hitomi's auto-eject will NOT fire if the "single round of ammo explodes" result occurs.
The PPC has the Accurate Weapon Quirk.

Map Layout

Long edges are the east/west mapsides

NORTH

Open Terrain #2.....City (Suburbs)
City Ruins.............City (Residential)

SOUTH  (the northern two maps should have their Battletech logos facing north.  The southern maps have the logo to the south)

OPFOR places 16 hexes worth of medium buildings (CF 40) on the City Ruins sheet.  OPFOR then places 12 Rubble Tokens per Urban Map, which must either be adjacent to a building or overtop of a building hex.  Basements and skidding are in play as normal per TW.

Both sides move onto their respective board edges on their initiative count and fight.  Last Mech standing wins.

This will be a hard fight. The opfor's tactics edge will give her a major advantage. Play smart and plan on losing initiative often.

Just an FYI, the timeline will probably advance soon with the December market getting posted. So if you have any interest in anything from the November market, it would be a good idea to move on it soon.

Lucas played a very smart game and kept his distance. He was able to put a lot of PPC fire into his opponent and take little damage himself. He was able to destroy both the left and right torsos leaving the Trebuchet weaponless. Full wrkite up to follow within next couple of days.

11-22-3046 After Action Report
Bright Lance was sent to find and recon an abandoned town that the unit had heard about but didn’t have an exact location. Due to the battle on 11-19-3046, Bright Lance only had 3 units available to deploy, 2 were from its reserves. Mech assignments were as follows: Lt. Brightsword in the Phoenix Hawk, Sgt. Dubos in the Trebuchet, and Sgt. Spears in the Blackjack. They didn’t have the exact location of the town so the 3 of them was spread out to cover more ground. Sgt. Spears was the one to locate the town. As he sent the location to the rest of lance, he got a warning alarm on his sensors of a mech approaching fast from the far side of the town. Sgt. Spears radioed Lt. Brightsword about the incoming mech and proceeded to move into area to get a positive ID. As he got a positive ID that the mech was a Draconis Trebuchet, the incoming mech pilot identified himself as Hitomi Snow and challenged Sgt. Spears to combat. Sgt. Spears entered from the west side of town and Hitomi Snow from the east. Sgt. Spears realized he had the advantage at longer ranges and worked to keep some distance. The Draconis pilot tried to close and maneuver to get close and force Sgt. Spears into the open but Sgt. Spears stayed close to a cluster of buildings to use them as some cover. This worked well for Sgt. Spears because it seemed that Hitomi Snow’s targeting systems was out of calibration and was shooting low. The buildings soaked up a lot damage intended for Sgt. Spears. ¾ of the way through this cat and mouse game, Hitomi Snow was able to get into position to force Sgt. Spears into the open but Sgt. Spears was able to destroy Hitomi Snows right torso which housed his PPC and med lasers, only weapons remaining were 3 SRM 4’s. Shortly after Hitomi Snow moved quickly into short range of his SRM’s. Sgt. Spears saw an opportunity and let loose with everything he had and nearly took the left torso off Hitomi Snows Trebuchet. Hitomi Snow couldn’t keep his mech standing. He quickly got his mech up and backed away so Sgt. Spears wouldn’t be able to get behind him. Sgt. Spears feeling the heat rising in his mech decided to stand still and fired both PPC’s which finished taking the left torso and remaining weapons from Hitomi Snows mech ending the battle.

Sorry for delay. Took a bit of time to work with Lucas to write this. :). I will work on getting a few pictures posted this weekend.

No worries.  Added to the contract log after I made a few formatting changes to synch with the rest of the Battle Reports.

For what it's worth, Hitomi is a female, if Lucas needs to update his prisoner log information.
