Title: Learn to Play Aerotech Event

I'm looking at putting together a Learn to Play AeroTech event for group members who'd like to learn.  Each player starts off with a DropShip and a couple of ASF squadrons, and then, Grinder-style, when the DropShip dies you graduate towards larger and more complex ships.

Tier 1 - how to move, shoot, and take damage in space; intro to ASF squadron rules
Combat DropShip + 2 ASF Squadrons
Tier 2 - how capital/subcapital weapons work
Pocket WarShip (A DropShip with subcapital weapons) + 2 more Squadrons
Tier 3 - how WarShips interact with the turn order and how things like Bracket Firing work
Simple WarShip (Lola, Essex, Inazuma, etc) + 2 more Squadrons
Tier 4 - Now you're playing with gas; all ship types are under your control at once
Medium WarShip (Dante, Congress, Avalon, etc) + x2 DropShip Escorts + 2 more Squadrons

I'd like to do it before the end of January.  Apologies for not having 8 December in there - that's my anniversary and I know there's no way in hell I'm getting to play ANYTHING that day.

B) What date works for you?

Not voting for a specific date, because it's likely I'd be a late arrival anyway, but I'll try to make it regardless.

The way my schedule is looking, it will probably be better for the date to be set and me trying to keep it clear than the other way around.

At this point, it sounds like we are talking about January dates or even February. Let's get a date set and work toward that.

29th, it appears I have some thing to go to regarding my great grandmother. I am assuming its the reading of her will.

She died a couple weeks ago and requested to be cremated. She was 99 or close to it. I will be fine.

Rob had also said he would be unavailable for ~3 weeks after the last game, so December is definitely not happening. Given everyone's planning horizon, if we don't get this puppy scheduled soon, it will happen in Feb if at all.
