Before you start reading, no, I don't know why BLC and salvage aren't negotiable anymore. I can't get them to turn back on. I even started a new instance and gave my new CO a +10 to every skill, and elite admins in all areas, and they still can't be negotiated. Sorry, folks.

Swift wind is in clan territory, how would markets work with that one?

Deadly's question about how markets work in Clan territory is a good one, not just unit and personnel but contract as well as I expect we'll end up taking one like that eventually.
As I noted in the text I sent out, I'm not interested in taking any of these contracts, but with a really strong argument I could be convinced. December is month 1 of 3 we have before we run into problems with out of contract status so we can afford to be more choosy early, and less choosy later. If the same batch came up in January I'd be open to discussion - still not happy with things, but there's a limit to how often we can say "go fish" before there's a cost associated with it.
Assuming we advance time to January for contracts, I would expect Rob to hold off on unit and personnel marketplaces until we wrap up the current contract and resolve November and December marketplaces. The contract is for planning purposes. If you do really want something from here, pitch your case by late Sunday night. Thanks.

I have no issue with you guys bypassing these contracts. Do remember that there just isn't much going on for several years, however, so while you're correct that you can afford to be picky early on in the process, there is very little on general that will be going on between Great Houses, and most contracts will either be garrison contracts, for or against the Periphery, or will be raiding against the Clans.
AtB doesn't seem to restrict unit markets in Clan territory in any meaningful way, for what that's worth. Market restrictions are only by contract type. So that's at least something.

Rob, understood. Not looking to make it to month 3, and I understand that we’re likely to see more of the same, but locations and employers matter at least in month one.

If I was to vote for one, it'd be MUSTANG. I like the contract length, and the fact that we'd get to face off vs TC. House Arano approves.

BOTH PLANETS STERNWERDE AND SCHUYLER HAVE POISONOUS/TOXIC ATMO PER ATB
- punch out may = death or wear a atmo suit and take something like a -1 to both pilot and gunnery per last time we had one of these.....
- possible breach rolls depending on what exactly the atmo is .....my guess is this is more so pilot hazard than mech for this one

MY VOTE IS WULONG - short, somewhat looks to be easy and makes the co look good for doing something for liao with his new title and maybe keep the death commandoes off our backs - RP wise im pro fedcom but at same time im honorable and helping the co to look good to keep the commandoes from dropping on us mid contract again kind of supports my stance
2nd being cachena because pirates with a rated stuff sounds a lot like comstar not pirates and its TC space....hmmm what was that dropship incident again
3rd being cadre duty yay its closer to the non ass end of space but not by much and well its a long contract so that kind of negates the want to take a closer planet when by the time were done we couldve been there sooner probably taking one of other contracts

At a quick glance, my vote is for WULONG. It's close by, already maxed transportation and straight support, 2nd best salvage rate at 60%, A grade equipment to salvage and an independent command, so no liasion officer to babysit.

How dangerous are the radioactive areas if we need to end up fighting in one of them? Trying to figure out how feasible WULONG really is.
