Only assault pilot is a regular pilot with Gauss spec and this doesn't even have that. But it would be nice to see what the august market has first.
I'll need to see if I even have enough armor to get this back up afterwards, but man would it be nice to have something this hefty on the team.

Post Mission Notes:
Novak is lucky to be in one piece. An executioner had her dead to rights with their UAC-20 and C-LRM-20 while her mech was already crippled and had been soaking gauss rifle and LBX-20 fire like it was going out of style. Executioners UAC jammed and LRM 20 missed (snake eyes and a 3 respectively) and point blank range. this time the Thunderbolt lived up to it's reputation and managed to stay upright while under heavy fire.

Mission concluded with a Grendel getting into her back while she was already in this heavily damaged state and damaged the RT heatsink. In response Novak blew the mech's head off with her ERPPC. This continues her trend of downing mechs via killing the pilot. Seems her pirate days influenced her style of combat more than her previous training.

Thunderbolt is to be repaired, rearmed, and on hand for combat deployment. Examine potential to swap machine guns for small/small pulse lasers to retain anti-infantry capability while removing ammunition from equation. Remove the AMS as it is more of a liability than benefit, check for Laser AMS to replace. Check weight/crit slot viability to replace SRM with LRMs.Remove flamer and replace both with med las.

Lesson learned, just because it's a long ranged clan mech doesn't mean it *isn't* rocking triple MPLs.
Pilot managed a kill on the Mad Cat II 2 via ammo detonation after going through rear armor. Hell of a first kill.

Mech just needs some repairs and it'll be back into the fight in no time. Might look into viability of getting some LPLs for it, but that's for a later examination.

It seems there was an error in the computer's systems. Previous reports dated from "November" 3rd onward until this date during operation Springfield have been dated incorrectly.
The system seems to think that everything was being done in November instead of February. To whomever filed these, I recommend checking if your systems aren't using some refurbished kit left over from before the succession wars and using some
esoteric date system known only to some old SLDF logistics officer.

Updates from now on should continue during the proper date of February of 3063. Hopefully this time in the correct chronological order.

If this is overlooked again the person responsible is going to be cleaning the crunchies off our mechs after the upcoming mission.

Damage Sustained: Minimal. 20 Damage from Longtom round that landed next to the mech due to successfully pushing the enemy back just in time for allied arty to land. Remaining damage was a hit from the Wolverine's parting shot, just before Novak cored it and crit out the engine and gyros.

Post Mission Notes: Three kills. 1 Cyclopes, 1 Wolverine, 1 Crusader. Minimal damage since the enemy spent more time beating on the other lances in the area. So Novak was able to get stuck into the middle of the fighting and getting to use her SPAs to their fullest. She managed at least 16 crits, possibly even more, I lost count. Of concerning note is that Novak's first opponents that she let live were the war criminals we were fighting against.

Okay Scratch the Mad Cat Repairs. I had to double check and yeah, turns out that I only have 2.5 tons of Clan Fero in storage, and that's 4.5 tons of damage.

so I'll need to see if I can convert that mech into standard armor or if it's going to be sitting there with a lot less armor until I can either salvage or get really lucky in scrounging some up.

Okay I'm not going to try and mess with that.

I had 2.5 tons of Clan F/F armor, which equates 47 Pips, so I'm saying that the LA, RA, and RT are fixed up since those were rolled first and the Ct and LL are still damaged.

The CT still has 20, LL 15.

And with that I'm out of F/F armor. I'll try and get some more.
