Thanks for the replies. I will stop out to Sci-Fi City sometime and watch.

After doing some digging it looks like Catalyst is in the beta stages of having a document that would outline building a force for some lance on lance action. We have settled on BV for the time being with my couple of guys that play. Works for us until we start doing campaigns.

From what I have been reading (new to the game) it seems like most people are using BV to determine the sizes of their lances.

Do you all find BV to be the standard?
If so what would you say a typical lance size, in BV, would be for the people you play with?

Thanks for getting me an account set up on these boards!

A few of my friends and I have slowly got the ball rolling after Gen Con with getting into Battletech table top. We are located around the Hyde Park/Norwood area if anyone is ever interested in a game please feel free to message me.

We wouldn't mind playing with others that have a solid rules understanding. We could learn a lot probably.

Anyway - nice to be here and thanks.
