General Discussion / game?

Hey everyone,

I posted a while back trying to get involved with your campaign but I never showed. I'm both busy and forgetful, and don't have much interest in the whole *cooperation* concept. I do however have enough figs now to do a game off Classic BT if someone's interested. I am still new to the game (in meatspace that is) so I'm open to how you want to determine force balance, victory conditions, available tech and whatnot. Venue could be anywhere, probably including my place. I have a 4x8 hex mat but no terrain.

I thought I sent him a pm yesterday, but today not only was there no reply but also there was nothing in my "outbox". I took this to mean it didn't send, so I sent another message. Still does not list it in the outbox. Does this mean the message isn't sending.

Cool I'll send him a pm.

The rules you mentioned are both are the one in Total Warfare, yes?

Cool, I should be able to make that. Just let me know where and when to show up. Are these forums the best place to commicate details and whatnot or would facebook or something else be better for you?

Ok I found the big rules pdf for the ongoing campaign. I modify my question thus. Are you currently accepting new players in your campaign?

I have actually messed around with AtB a little so I wouldn't be completely lost. It's tough without knowing the mechanics; one mission my units came on the map a few at a time where the were gunned down by a dozen tanks with elite gunners, but hey, war is hell. I know nothing of the Mechwarrior rules.

Hey all, thanks for getting me started here. I'm fairly new to the game just fyi. I started playing megamek just because it was a turn based game that ran natively on linux per se and slowly developed more interest in battletech over time. Once I realised that Iron Wind was here I decided to buy some models and got Total Warfare. It's all pretty overwhelming though...so I was wondering what kind of games are played around here and then of course if I could be involved somehow.
