Ryan and I are likely for the 8th.  The 29th is his birthday and we will not be in attendance.  September is probably the worst month for me (3 immediate birthdays within 31 days, +anniversary, +2 close family birthdays, etc.)

As a side note, Midnight's up for Mission 3, currently scheduled for the 29th.  If the schedule holds, what happens?

Don't worry about it. One of the hazards with a group this big is being able to get everyone in the same place at the same time. And especially with the upcoming October 20th large scale game, if people are going to burn favors, that would be the game to go for. As soon as I get confirmation from UC on the room, I'll be posting an RSVP thread for it.

It's not the date necessarily for us, but how frequently the games happen.

At this point I think HENHOUSE Mission 3 will have to be in November (October is the large scale game). It's kind of silly to plan on playing Mission 3 when all three of the lances are not likely to be able to make it. That leaves playing another scenario (ie not HMWT) or cancelling the 29th outright.

Could you generate the next week's missions and do 4 before 3?  I'm guessing probably not, but thought I'd suggest it.

Technically it is probably possible, but most of the missions generated so far have been for the scout force, which would appreciably change the problem. Also, mission generation is partly dependent on previous results, so if our contract score isn't high enough when we generate the mission, we wouldn't be able to generate missions like base assault that have options to end the contract early.

Ultimately, no one should get too wound up about the second game being lightly populated. It is hardly surprising we are having issues. Everyone is busy, has family obligations, etc. We all want to play more, reality just intrudes and shows us why once a month is the normal schedule.

We can just do a grinder or pull a one off fight for a change of pace. Clan vs. Society, maybe.
