Here is one the minis that I used for my Camospecs submission.

No, I was turned down on this submission. Working on my next submission. Was told that it was one of the better first time submissions. Keep trying.

That is very sharp. I had one of these in the Solaris campaign, wondered what it looked like.

For what it's worth, I think it's fine work.  I've seen more than a few minis at CS that don't look as nice as that. Keep up the good work.

Completely agree, excellent work as always Phil.  I'm looking forward to seeing it in person, although nice job on the photo-fu as well!

In regards to there being some mechs on CS that don't look as good, usually those are very old submissions (2003) and their standards weren't nearly as high as they are now.  I hope they eventually remove those, but then again, I kind of like them.  I know for certain I've turned out at least a couple minis at a higher level than some of those very early CS ones, so I can justify my own lack of skills by assuring myself that 10 years ago I could have been a camospecs artist!!  Yeah, that's what I tell myself, sad, I know.

How many did you submit, Phil?  I noticed you only posted a couple of them on here.  Are you going to (or are you allowed to) post these to the CBT boards as well?

You have to submit 5 minis. They prefer different schemes so that they can get an idea of skills with different colors and factions. Something else that was mentioned, they would like more than one view. I didn't see that in there specifications for submittal. Now I know. I used my Red Shift, which; most have seen on the table. There is a Grand Titan painted the Marian Hegemony IV legio and a light mech for the Kellhounds. (For the life of me, I can't think which mini it is) Have another submission almost ready. Probably the #1 thing on my bucket list.  :D

That's cool, I love it when there is more than one view of the mini.  Sometimes you go on there to see something very specific, and it's disappointing when the single view available doesn't show what you need to see.  I'm sure you'll get accepted soon.

Having multiple views of each mini is really nice. Keep at it Phil, I'm sure you'll make it well before you make the final "kick".
