William looked at the the door he was about to enter adjusted his clothing and entered.

"Colonel I have been unable to reach my techs. I understand we took some casualties and you have yet to release the names or the techs to their lances. This is my formal inquiry into the status of my personnel. I would like to have a small window to get with each of my members as needed before resuming patrol if in fact there were losses in my group. Also as far as debrief, we caught the league units on sensors high tailing it out after we converged back at the base. They must have seen us coming and had enough warning to get out of the way. We may have a moment of reprieve but I will get ICE lance out back on the bubble as soon as possible."

Ok, some final wrap up.  I've talked to Dan and he's taking the Shad 5M for salvage for Skaraborg.  Midnight is claiming the Cicada, the Phoenix Hawk and the 2 light vehicles.  The unit is taking the Wolverine and the Firestarter and Ostroc to sell.

The PHawk Midnight got was the L1 PHX-1.  Steve wasn't eligible for salvage as he didn't have an open slot at the time the mission was played.  Tealor got the PHawk 3M as it was just missing a head for the most part.  You got an Awesome 9M.  I don't recall if Mike got something or not.  It was pretty chaotic at the end there.

I did not take anything. There wasn’t any thing I wanted for my lance or that I wanted to repair and sell. Maybe I will be able to select from another missions salvage.

Kato nods his visage somber.  "I got the AAR, just wanted to make sure nothing got missed.  For Ice, it was techs Cooper Kinnear and O'Neary."  He crosses and puts a hand on William's shoulder.  "I'm sorry we failed them."  It looks like he was going to say more, then stops.  "They'll be added to the Official Roll of Honor as soon as I get the chance.  They've already been added to mine.  They will not be forgotten."  He pauses and looks William right in the eye.  "I will not forget them."

Kato lowers his arm.  "We'll have a service for them shortly as we did for Knightly and Ni after the first engagement.  May this be the last for this Operation.  The butcher's bill for this Op is already too high."

"Anything else?  I still need to speak to Mudd and Hitzig."

William looks away and says " Only the patrol path you want us to go back out on after the service." Clearing his throat he continues "Honestly we know all of them anyway and it can wait until after. I guess. Just pull me aside."
After a crisp salute he turns moving to within a step of the door. Turning back he finishes. " I do have a concern though sir. We had a head hunting team know who our CO was an attempt a hit. Then even though we were on full alert the last group still slipped in under our noses. Didn't we have drone surveillance courtesy of our generous allies? It dont add up, could use a drink at this point." Shaking his head he walks out.

Kato nods in agreement to William's request on timing for the patrol path.  He returns the crisp salute and then answers William's question before he leaves.  "We're facing an elite opponent, so I expect them to pull off the unexpected, but you're right.  Something seems off here.  We need to figure this out before it further compromises our mission."
