All vehicle tank crews have been fully assigned best I can. Savior being the only one that needs a bit of ruling on, not that I would use most of those 6+ gunners for much else.

How are we playing the elemental BA? Given that MHQ and MML only generates it as a clan point and not an IS lance or Level II assignment.

OK, in order:

1) According to AtB, the Savior requires 1 vehicle driver, 1 gunner, and 8 "vehicle crew", which is a personnel classification we aren't using because it wasn't backwards compatible with the previous campaign.  Vehicle Crew are simply crewmembers who can act as either drivers OR gunners.  So crewing the Savior with 9 total vehicle gunners should be fine.  The Savior does NOT require Techs as part of its complement.


2) Just play it as a 4-man Elemental Squad that always has 1 member in reserve to make up for a squad casualty.  "Man #5" just doesn't deploy with the squad, as it were.  That's the least irritating way to do it. I honestly didn't think that AtB would generate Clan BA points in the marketplace when I wrote the HM,WT rules with the BA revision.

Given that we have seen a few clan mechs pop up in market, it should be expected, given this is the 2nd time elementals popped up. AtB also plays with all 5 in missions (checked it out of curiosity.) Playing with 4 of 5 would mean the officer in charge of that point would never die, given how the rules for BA are written.

No, that's a very good point.  Run them as a straight 5-man point, then.
