Where do I find a Starslayer mini?

Greetings,

I'm looking to pick up a Starslayer mini.  I've been searching online without success.  I can find 86 entries on eBay for various unseen mechs, and 0 for the starslayer.  Any suggestions?

There are several ways to do this.

1--Contact Eric at SciFi City and ask him to order one for you and pick it up at the store.

2--Go to Iron Wind Metals' online store and order it and it will be shipped to you.

3--This is my favorite [living in Cincinnati can be fun].  Contact the "Office Wench" (Melissa) at Iron Wind by email and place an email order.  Then stop by the factory (when it's ready) and pick it up in person.

Thanks for the answers. Do any of them avoid the $8 archive fee?  I don't expect to buy mechs often and paying double for every mech seems kind of steep.

Sci-fi City has a huge number of minis in their main warehouse, so there's a decent likelihood they'll have it. Before they removed all those minis from the store, there were a LOT of archived minis. If they don't have it, they'll also attempt to order it from their distributor. Either way, you'd avoid an archive fee.

If you order it from IWM, you'll end up paying the archive fee.

You can also go to Lords of the Battlefield forum and under the trade and sell thread, ask if anyone would have one they would be willing to depart with. While there, you can click on the link to BV Traders and check out their selection. They don't have one right now.

I'm sorry.  I didn't realize that the Starslayer was archived. :(   I would try SciFi City then Lords of the Battlefield as Serrate and Phlop have suggested.

If that fails and you decide to go for the IWM and the archive fee, go to the IWM site under contacts and find "Office Wench".

(Also, the archive fee only applies to the 1st copy purchased.  ie if you buy 2 or more there is only 1 archive fee charged).

Rob, no worries.  It's the best fit for my character so I emailed the "office wench" and will wait to hear back.

Now someone just needs to provide guidance on how to paint it for the SLDF.  :)

Olive drab, rust wash, pick out panel edges with silver dry brush for wear.

I might suck at painting, but I do know the techniques.
