Average skills for Aero pilots

The PDF copy of TW I'm currently looking at lists average IS pilot skills as Gunnery: 4, Piloting: 5.

However, I remember Rob telling me that pilots were supposed to be 5/4. This definitely makes more sense, as controlling your unit is much more critical in an ASF than a mech.

Does this appear in print anywhere? Or has it been errata'd for TW?

I want to suggest this as a change to the campaign rules for MegaMekNet, but I'd like to be able to point to something more official than common sense.

No and no, the 5/4 pilot thing is a group house rule because Rob doesn't find lawn darting nearly as hilarious as whoever wrote Aerotech apparently does.

It's actually Demo Team Policy for official events.  All AreoTech events at conventions are supposed to be run with the skills reversed.  So, not "quite" a house rule...

By the way, sorry for canceling the Saturday game; I was sick as hell (Brent can verify) and in no condition to run a game.

Thanks for the reply! It looks like a few people at MMN agreed with this suggestion, so it just might get implemented soon with the new campaign.
