Note: everything about that primer is 100% good...except there's an issue with the range bands.  I'm double-checking with the guys who wrote it now (Mike, I think you're looking at the "large unit" version, where a lance is all one playing piece on the table).  Mike could be right, but it's not jiving with what Bill Pennington (the ony guy who runs AlphaStrike/Quickstrike routinely) was running at Origins.

EDIT:  Yup.  Not your fault.  I told you to research Quickstrike, and the other name for QS is BattleForce.  You're using the Battleforce range bands.  There's a whole LOT of confusion about what is what right now, so no harm, no foul.

The range bands we will be using are the same ones as found in the upcoming Alpha Strike game:

SHORT: 1-3 hexes
MEDIUM: 4-12 hexes
LONG: 12-24 hexes
EXTREME: 25-32 hexes
