Because a large number of people have PMd me pointing out that they've messed up on their acquisition rolls for DHS**, I'm giving a 1-shot correction. Everyone's set of rolls will stand as-is. If you successfully acquired the items on the wrong rolls, you've acquired the items and they'll stay in your warehouse.
The downside of this is that you are to go back and figure out how much you missed each roll by. For example, if you *actually* needed a 10, and you miscalculated to an 8, and you rolled a 9, then you missed the roll by 1 point. According to the rules on pg 9 of the PDF, you can pay a +10% surcharge to get a +1 bonus to your rolls. Each of you is to go back and use this rule to retroactively square up your numbers, deducting the final result from your current warehouse money. If that puts you into a negative number, your lance is in debt and you can make no more acquisition rolls until you're out of debt.
This will be done and posted (or PMd to me) before the July 15th game.
For example:
Rob tries to acquire a PPC and a double heat sink. He calculates the TN for the PPC as a 3, and the DHS as a 6. The *actual* numbers were 6 and 9, respectively. He rolled a 3 to acquire the PPC, and rolled an 8 to acquire the DHS.
Since he needed a 6 to get the PPC, he'd have had to have taken a +3 on his roll to get it (6-3 = 3). Getting a +3 using the "extra payment" method is a +30% surcharage. Since the PPC costs $300,000 CB, this will cost him $90,000 CB retroactively.
Since he needed a 9 to get the DHS, and rolled and 8, he'd have had to have taken a +1 on his roll to get it (9-8 = 1). Getting a +1 on the extra payment method is a +10% surcharge. The DHS costs $6,000 CB, so this will cost him $600 CB retroactively.
90,000+600 = $90,600 CB. His warehouse currently has $50,000 CB. He deducts the $90,600 CB and is currently $40,600 CB in debt. He cannot make any additional acquisition rolls until the next disbursement for the contract comes in, and his lance salaries and maintenance costs are paid up as well from that disbursement as well.

** I would very much like to understand the thought process that sees only three categories of gear (IntroTech, Advanced, and ClanTech) and decided that an Inner Sphere DHS must use the "IntroTech" target number. DHS cannot be IntroTech by definition as it doesn't appear in the Introductory Boxed Set, and ClanTech doesn't exist yet, so one would think the only category remaining would be Advanced. Yes, I'm irritated that 4.5 people did this (newbies get a pass).
