Rolled to hit with ac20 once... He edged and I missed every shot thereafter.... It was painful for me to watch.

EDIT: Never mind.  I had my notes written wrong.

Good job, Brandon.  Enjoy the salvage.

Keiko is an elite pilot for purposes of ransom.  Keiko may be recruited, but...why would you?

Not to bother you too greatly, but I am still waiting on the Battle Report so I can update the contract log.

Starting from opposite sides, both pilots coming in ready for the fight. The mountain and aligning terrain was child's play for the jumpers to reach. As soon as Sharpe came into melee range, he realized he was outmatched and kept his distance. While struggling to keep the mech from being destroyed, Keiko did her best to fire from range despite Sharpe having the advantage in the woods. After losing 2 actuators in legs and placed in forced withdrawal, Keiko was at a loss until Sharpe got the final shot, taking the left torso and losing the fight.
Sharpe was the victor.

Both sides entered along the northern maps traversing high ground at rapid speed. After an intial LL hit to Drakes Griffin he tried to close the distance. A brief game of cat and mouse ensued ending with both sides thinking it would be an opportune time to engage. Drake realized fairly quickly this was to set the pace of the battle once he seen the skill of the enemy pilot. An initial trade at CQC range gave Drake a scare as he managed to aim and fire his ML battery toward the enemy (only hitting with 3) but swiftly receiving a kick and LL upon his landing. If he hadnt gave a split second lean in his land an AC20 would also have landed. He managed to swing an hatchet toward the enemy quite close but was easily dodged as the opfor pilot already read his movement. With a quite quick uniform decision following this initial exchange he decided to GTFO of his range bands as far back as he could. The game of cat and mouse played on as Drake and the opfor pilot jockeyed for high ground or cover. Several feints mixed in with his calculated jumps would draw the enemy pilot into prime positioning on multiple occasions (him losing INIT). Most of the time however the the ML battery would only key in enough targeting info and fire for a few ML hits at a time. This became death by 1000 needles for the opfor mech as the clustering data continued to track enough to hit multiple volleys into key areas. Eventually the combination of the RA being destroyed containing the LL and crippling the enemies movement allowed him to stay at the range band of his choosing. This spelled the end for the opfor pilot as his targeting data could just not connect at the range needed. Eventually a short burst from the ML battery tore away the LT shutting down the mech and failing to set off the ammo bin in the RT on two occasions.
