Contract Wrap-up Checklist

OK, here is the list of things that needs to happen before I can generate the next set of contracts:

This needs to be done in numerical order, so players need to get on with these tasks and confirm they're done ASAP

1) Players: Choose new Unit CO, perform post-contract retirement rolls, BLC awards, ransoms, and all other normal post-contract duties.  If you don't know what do to, see pages 40-41 of the 3.1 ruleset.

1-a) GM: Update Contract Log, figure commendations, figure final pay/bonuses, figure time to Somerset Jump Point (on task for Tuesday, 4-16)

2) Unit CO chooses where the Unit is headed next

3) Players: All players check in with new Lance Compositions (all personnel, all equipment), Master TO&E is updated with new lance composition data

4) GM: Update AtB with new TO&E data, move Unit to destination, advance time appropriately

5) Unit CO: Determine length of stay, if any, on new destination

6-a) GM: Generate Marketplaces

6-b) GM: If stay is less than 1 month, generate contracts

6-c) GM: if stay is greater than 1 month, don't generate contracts

Steve has chimed in on the new CO thread and did not nominate himself, so Hat is unopposed for CO. Step number 1 complete.

OK, I've heard nothing further regarding any hypothetical actions on Somerset during the evac, so I have to make 3 dice rolls, and we're OFFICIALLY off-world

Unit CO needs to figure out where we're headed next, along with the salvage split, as listed in the log thread.

Rob, before making a decision, is the allowed BV at this point still 5,800 per lance?  That may factor into where to go next.

I can't generate any new contracts until the TO&E *and* AtB are updated, since the change in lance configs can change Dragoons score.  So guess what we're holding on next?

Rob, I'm confident we're at most only off by a mech or two in terms of upgraded or not upgraded.  At 74% upgraded, it's not going to kick us below 70% or above 80%.  Likewise lance mechwarrior ratings would have to change in a lot of cases to move the needle off of Veteran.  I've already updated the unit personnel and the impacted areas such as medical.  I also updated for Atayde.  Unit TO&E as of May 14th posted in TO&E tread.  

PM sent for a couple of clarifications.

I'll get back to you when I get home tonight.  That's too many questions to answer on mobile.

Side note: don't sweat the Dragoons rating too much.  Some of the values in AtB get calculated differently than in FM Merc revised, and I can't do anything whatsoever about it in AtB.  Our Goons Rating is whatever is in there; what's in the TO&E is an approximation.
