LIBER Solo Mission (Crusher) - SL Cache - 6/21/3051
« on: August 16, 2019, 12:28:15 AM »

As a reminder, the OPFOR Mech mass is determined by what you bring.  Generally speaking, if you bring a Heavy, it'll generate x1 Medium, x1 Heavy, and x1 Assault.  However, it can also generate x2 Heavy and x1 Assault, or x2 Medium and x1 Heavy.

Sorry, man.  No joy.  You're back to Daylight.

I'll need you to let me know which Mech you'll be taking on the mission, if you choose to go.

Wolverine II

I'll generate the full scenario later, but here's what you're looking at.

OK, so the Star League Cache scenario works like this:

Solaris Factory map.  Deploy 10 hexes worth of Level 2 terrain on the Clear, level 0 terrain, outside the buildings.

OPFOR deploys 1 unit inside the large building (either floor), 1 unit within 2 hexes of the small building, and 1 unit "behind" the large building (away from the entry ramp).  The Star League Cache mech is deployed inside the small building.

After deployment, you deploy your Mech in the corner of the map containing the entry ramp.  You must be on the ramp, but can be up to your Walk MP away from the corner.

The Tech is *required* to keep the Mech alive, and therefore, when possible, will move out of LOS of your unit.  It can fire at you if it moves first and you move into its LOS.  The other three units can engage you at their own discretion.  Enemy units are considered "destroyed" when they are permanently rendered no longer capable of spending MP to enter a new hex.  MoC pilots will abandon their Mechs using standard rules.

I'll generate the OPFOR SPA's once you know who the OPFOR player will be.

Since he forgot to put up the After Action Report. He won.
Only mech salvageable: Shadow Hawk
Black Knight took 0 damage (hid to his best abilities)
(he can make his updates if he remembers)
After action:
Braisacher came onto the field looking to capture the Black Knight, who was hidden the entire time. His first target was a Wasp who was just as nimble as he was. While the Wasp struggled to stay jumping after a gyro hit off the gate, he was ultimately legged. The Wasp tried hard to continue the fight, but ultimately succame and cored himself out while the Blackjack and Shadow hawk tried to attack together.
Both mechs fought as best they could and ended up being legged one after the other. The Blackjack initially went unconscious after losing his leg and relied on the shadow hawk to continue. During this time however, since the opposing force was slow on the uptake, Braisacher worked on finishing off the Blackjack while the Shadow Hawk was trying to keep up. By this time, the Blackjack woke up and was back in the fight, struggling to stand without a leg and hip. The flurries of kicks from Braisacher was too much for both mechs to handle. The match ended with armor damage to Wolverine with two cored opfor and an engine kill on the Shadow Hawk.
