Unfortunately, after studying the map and seeing the mech warrior skills and all the pulse lasers in the mechs, I need to decline this mission. I fell that it is highly possible for me to loose my pilot, mech, and tech. I don't feel that the reward is worth the risk.

Rob,
If it is possible could you still send the SPA's of the opfor pilots? We would still like to play this to see what happens.

Fair enough.  So we're clear, I would generally ask that mission abandonment happens before I go through the trouble of creating the full scenario.  Now, SLDF Caches are an exception, because you don't get to see what you're actually facing until it's been generated, so don't worry or think I'm mad at you.  Just a note for the future and for everyone else who reads the thread.

Maria: CO, Tactics +2, Edge 1, Tactical Genius
Ayman: Edge 1
Adam: XO, Tactics +2, Melee Specialist, Cluster Hitter, Oblique Attacker

And yes, in fairness, this was a very difficult mission.  All the SLDF Caches are hard, this one had some very good RAT rolls for OPFOR units.  Your PC probably could have run it, but I don't think the pilot you selected for it would have had better than a 1 in 3 chance.

I know your not mad, but I do feel bad that I had you take the time to generate the whole mission. Because I know there is fair bit of time and effort put into it. I also agree that the only chance I really had would have been to use my lance leader. But since I am in a group mission the next day that involves protecting everyone’s techs, including mine, I shouldn’t use him. Also, if it normally would be to late to back outside you would prefer, I will run it as is and do my best to not get destroyed.

Thanks for sending the spa’s and skills.
