Unit Structure and Lance Role Assignment Choice

First, if you don't like either of the first 2 options and select "Go Fish", put a comment in the thread to explain what you don't like about it or what you would change.  Everyone's able to change their votes, so you're not locked in.

So I'm trying to figure out how to group lances into a new structure.  Three companies of 4 mech lances each means we keep having to switch things up every time we take on a new contract and the required number of lances changes.   Depending on the contract we take, the primary focus area (Scout, Fight or Defend) ends up with 5 to 6 lances required of 12, while the others don't require more than 3.  So to make things make sense internally, the plan is to have 4 companies - Flying, Scout, Fight, Defend, where the Flying company is assigned to whichever role the extra lances are needed in and the others will be in the role for their company.  Every lance is still expected to be able to field a viable lance moving no slower than 4/6/4.  Any lance in the Flying company will need to be able to handle deployment in any of the 3 roles.  Below is the expanded structure for the primary battalion for context.

Combat Battalion (Star League Reinforced Battalion)
Alpha Company – Reinforced
Role: Flying company - Joins the primary contract role, be it Scout, Fight or Defend
Lances
*   Mech (x3)
*   Battle Armor Platoon (4 Squads of 4)

Bravo Company - Reinforced
Role: Scout
Lances:
*   Mech (x3)
*   Battle Armor Platoon (4 Squads of 4)

Charlie Company - Reinforced
Role: Fight
Lances:
*   Mech (x3)
*   Battle Armor Platoon (4 Squads of 4)

Delta Company - Reinforced
Role: Defend
Lances:
*   Mech (x3)
*   Combat Vehicle Lance (2 LRM Carriers, 2 open slots)

Option 1:

I voted, but fine with either tbh. I think my lance has the flexibility to deal with various roles passably well.
