Anyone seeking out Rosk in the days following June 6 will find one of the lancemates posted at the door with a drawn pistol, looking at the door. While having pistols and other small arms is not unusual based on the current alert state with the attempt at the commanders life, pointing it internally is unusual.

Atayde noticing the unusual behavior would approach cautiously.  "Problem Sergeant?"

The sergeant's reply is interrupted by a loud exchange in Japaneses.  After the exchange, the sergeant replies, "I'm just ultra-cautious backup here. Nothing a little time won't fix."

Atayde unfortunately couldn't follow the exchange.  "Who is Rosk meeting with?  If he's brought someone in who's jeopardizing operational security, that's not his call to make."

Sir, the only people in the room are Lieutenants Rosk and Lovett. Rosk had to be pulled out his mech by Selle and he is having a bit of an episode right now.

"Ok Sergeant I need an explanation of what kind of episode one of my lance commanders has that is serious enough to warrant one of his own men having his sidearm drawn.  That certainly points to Rosk being a danger to others in this command."

The Colonel pauses and considers for a moment.  "Let me rephrase: Is Rosk a danger to himself or this command?  If not and this can be... handled within your lance, that's fine."

This is oddly followed up by some knocking on the door, and then Lt. Lovett coming out. She looks around at everyone, then turns to the Sergeant and says, "Put that away and go tell doc that he took the sedatives." 

Switching focus back to Atayde, and after a long pause, Lovett says, "I may have answers for you. But the ultimate answer for this is why do the Nova Cats do anything? Rosk is asleep now, and so should not be a danger to anyone. I'm assuming you have further questions."

Atayde considers the possible meanings of the lieutenants words and decides clarity is best.  "So did the Nova Cats do something to Rosk, or was Rosk once a Nova Cat?  If he needs further medical care we can certainly find it for him.  If he's former Clan, while odd, that's not a problem."

It was what the Nova Cats did to the Benjamin prefecture. He's gone though many different types of drugs trying to get treatment, but what works best while acceptable in the Combine may not be legal elsewhere. I'm not sure your Capellan side has such substances, but its unfortunate that what works may not be lawful everywhere.

I think he might have been taken bondsman one, but he knifed that person and escaped, so not quite sure about actual status as a clanner. Its the knifing part that gets us worried.
