As a reminder: you deploy ONE MECH to fight in this, not your whole lance.

Map is EITHER The Solaris VII "Factory" Map, or if you don't have it, use what's below.

NORTH

SOUTH

OPFOR Deployment (SVII Map): OPFOR enters from the "ramp" on their initiative.

OPFOR Deployment (Starport Maps): OPFOR enters on their initiative, on or up to three hexes away from the north-west corner hex.

Ranger Deployment (SVII Map): Tech starts inside the small building at ground level.  Deployed Foil Mech starts inside the large building, at any desired level.

Ranger Deployment (Starport Maps): Tech starts in a Light Woods hex which does NOT border the edge of the map.  Deployed Foil Mech starts adjacent to any desired building on the map.

Environmental Effects
Dawn: +1 to all weapon attacks (not affected or reduced via searchlights or SPAs) until Turn 9.

Victory Conditions
The last side to have a mobile Mech wins the game, and controls the battlefield.

***EXTING THE BATTLEFIELD***
The game is taking place within a walled cache and cannot be exited.

***Pirate MechWarriors will move to and capture ejected MechWarriors if possible, and will fire upon ejected MechWarriors if/when at least 2 of their own number are KIA. ***

***The TN to recruit captured OPFOR MechWarriors is reduced by 1 (to a maximum of -3) for every 100,000 CB they are paid at the end of the contract.***

"My mistake with Amaris was that I did not cut his legs out when he attempted to negotiate with me. Ones you cut a mans legs he, he must beg from hsi knees."  Minoru Kurita, attributed statement by the Black Dragons, unverified

Cushion recieved a comm from Srgt Otsuka that a valuable mech had been discovered. Using the Omni technology, the C3 pod was quickly removed and replaced with the original small laser pod. Cushion then went out to meet Otsuka, and the discovered Lancelot mech. Otsuka got lucky penetrating the central armor of the phoenix hawk damaging the engine and gyro of the pixie. USing this to take the imitative, Foil lance used its superior mobility (and lucky grouping) to take a leg from the hunchback while taking a lit of damage themselves. They also used the building to split up the opfor mech, so that all three, or however many were up at the moment, could not all target the same mech.

While the medium mechs were put down, the Marauder continued to keep plonking away at the Black Hawk. In the decisive moment, Cushion and Otsuka both rushed in from the Marauder, having disabled the AC5, and engaged in a furious exchange of fire. The Black hawk took both an engine hit and lost a heat sink, while Marauder lost a leg and fell down.

In the end, Foil lance looked around, surveying the damage. With the Marauder unlikely to rise again (12 to stand, 1 leg lost and a lost torso/arm), the pixie unconscious and unlikely to stand (5 pilot hits, 12 to stand) and the Hunchback unable to stand having lost both its legs, Foil proceeded to leave the area with its spoils, but Otsuka was bemoaning the amount of work to repair the critical damage to both units.

GM Notes: Marauder taken and immediately sold as crippled. Locust and pilot released as not needed. Will update other threads as well.
