Mission accomplished. Destroyed 8 mechs and 2 vehicles. 3 salvageable. No allies destroyed but vindicator was considered mission destroy (2 gyro hit). Dan has all sheets.

Post damage on mechs tomorrow or later tonight on top of getting numbers for mission 1.

Although there was a lot of close calls

Also rob we had called game but spider was dragging the locust off board unopposed

How would that affect anything outside of that mission or was it just something for that solo mission specifically not impacting other missions

Also, thank you to Rob, Brandon, Bryan, and Dan for helping with this mission and getting it done and over with.
Besides that, what do you want me to do with these cored mechs from the first mission?

Just list the mechs and their values in the mission thread as kills. Then when we play Mission 2 we will know how much value we will have to play with in addition to the Mission 2 salvage.

Any salvage from the solo mission is yours alone and doesn't count to salvage total for the contract.

So if non salvaged mechs counts towards the value, there are only 3 mechs I can pull for myself, with enough value to pull all 3. So I do not have the sheets on me but dan does and he can give you the damage on them at his leisure. It was a dragon, a panther, and a firestarter. I will work on my own mechs for now so the CO can divvy them up however he wants.

Besides the repairs and salvage, how does the outcome affect me?

Not much. Your win/loss on a solo mission affects the contract score and can give you a big hit of salvage (and repairs..). Some missions, like Star League Cache missions have special rewards.

so the breakthrough objective for opfor was just for that solo mission then with no real outcome on campaign im assuming

It still contributes to campaign score. So a loss would be -1 to -5 points and a win is +1 to +5 (I think). The fluff reason is that the enemy unit was stopped or broke through.

I'll just take the firestarter then. Fix it up and see what to do with it.

For PC, I know for sure 1 and 3 were satisfied. 2 was most likely a no, with how beat up the Jager and Wolfhound got near the end. Plus my poor vindicator hitting the second gyro jumping away. Did not catch what the other two mechs were looking like near the end there.
Opfor victory conditions was just number 3 since only 1 of allies mechs was considered "destroyed".
Watching the locust wobble away from a bombing run that took its leg was kinda comical.

I am going to start the After Action Report some here.

"Dragon, at a disadvantage due to the terrain, coming in from the East, trying to rescue a lance in the middle of a fray as soon as possible. Lamar Leese in the Cicada was able to get past all 4 allies within a timely manner as soon as Draconis units were beginning to gain a foothold against them. Freeman and Leese were able to hold off fire from the opposing force long enough for the Davion units to retreat past Duckworth and Gato, who were holding down long range support. While trying to keep units at bay, the pilot in the Jagermech was able to destroy both saladins fast enough prior to them doing major harm to Gonzalo. During this time, a locust was trying to get past the force and got his leg blown off from the heavy strike that was sent after him. The spider was taunting the Davion pilots and was unable to be taken down during their escape, but was also unable to make any of the allies fall as well. Gato in the Vindicator was in a prime spot to attack all units, but was focused on and incurred heavy damage to where he was forced to retreat. During Gato's retreat, he ending up falling trying to get away in which he was taken down by his own inexperience jumping away, then shut down shortly after.
The spider and locust was able to get away, but the rest of the Draconis units were destroyed or crippled to the point of being unable to escape in the end. The Vindicator was the only casualty on the Numenorean side, while the Jagermech was the only crippled unit within the ally side, the mission was a success overall.
