Maybe go for heavier terrain like city or woods. Something that can block routes for even the jumpers might be good.
This would be inadvisable. Heavier terrain would give their units cover. We want as flat and clear terrain as possible. Crusher has LRMs and Skaraborg has many PPCs.
Speed wise, only the Locusts, Jenner, Thorn, and Phoenix Hawks are fast. They represent 7/(16+4) of the opfor. The Crabs are quick at 5/8, and the Panthers have some maneuverability at 4/6/4, while the Whitworth and Hunchbacks are limited to 4/6 and the UrbanMechs...
If anything, we should try for light. Any kind of darkness would crush the mobility of the non-jumpers, kneecapping the Locusts, Thorn and the two PXH-1K Phoenix Hawks. The Jenner can only jump 5. While this might limit Skaraborg's mobility, it will keep units in range. Crusher has all jumpers, so it won't be affected much.
Then the question is reinforcements. Dancer, Dunedain, and Freya can all bring all jumpers, so they wouldn't have a much of a problem with low light.
