The annoying thing is that I can't even really abuse darkness.  There's like 5 searchlights in the main force alone.

Go for cold and basically immobilize them by temperature.

Freya Lance emerged victorious, capturing the unconscious Guillotine and its pilot, and surprisingly not with an excessive amount of AC/20-caliber holes in its Mechs.  Victory was declared roughly Turn 15.
 The woods saved my ass.  Full writeup to come later.

At the critical moment my dice just rolled over and played dead. Though the last round large laser shot tried to burst the edge bubble and at least inflict a non-cosmetic level of damage.
