What about the Hatchetman 5D? Has Targeting Computer, ERML, and UAC/10, all of which are not available until 3058 (T-comp in 3062). How does this work?

Doesn't.

Should be a 3F - it's priced as a 45-ton IntroTech Mech.  I probably just read the wrong line in AtB.

I am going to suggest we try to avoid taking an assault mech since the salvage value is double or nearly double the value of the mech and just go for heavies down to increase the number of mechs we can obtain. Just a thought.

Basically all values are higher than Blue Book.  There's a war on, and you're dealing with the quartermaster directly.  The more valuable something is against the Clans, the more it "costs".

I would vote for taking at least one hit of that 50,000,000 and sharing it out then totaling up people's wish lists.

Well how much is a dropship again?

During this time, how much of the IS is affected by this specific war? Also who knows about the initial assault besides Davion?

I think we need to see how bad off several lances are before people start wish listing.  I myself would like a Thug and can at least resume some operational tempo with what I have on hand.

Archer and Shadow Hawk for me. Enough mechs to put each of my lance mates in a mech of sorts. I will have my lance leader buy a mech later on if needed.

Ok, it's going to take me a bit of time to process the options.  I'm certainly open to suggestions and willing to listen to reasonable arguments and requests.

Right now I believe priority is going to be given to get lances combat ready followed by units that lost mechs and the unit as a whole.  That means trying to get each lance to 5 to 6 mechs other than Phoenix.  I'd like to try and hold onto the 100MM in cash for the dropship reserve which helps the unit as a whole which leaves 81MM and change for salvaged equipment.  I'd like to put us in as strong a position as possible going into the next contract.

For anyone asking for a mech be reasonable.  If it's a high multiplier, unless it's a really good fit, skip it and the unit can buy it at the same or lower cost and gift it to a lance.  We'll have a marketplace so there will be further options.

So based on current lances and losses I'm at least asking for requests from the following lance commanders:
Dragon - 2 Mechs
Midnight - 2 Mechs
Phoenix - 2 Mechs
Skaraborg - 1 Mech

For everyone else, if there's something in the salvage list be it a mech or supplies please put in your request.  We'll see where things net out after a first pass and trim appropriately.  For the lots of weapons / ammo etc, I don't expect any single lance to need all of a lot, but with enough requests it can be broken out.

Thoughts?

vulcan and javelin also options

issue is until i see what my new lance leader has mech wise I might only be able to field 3 mechs unless I get one of the light or low bv mediums

Possibly both Vulcan and one of the other two

The Firestarter's a reasonable request.  Again, looking to make sure that all units are combat effective.  If a light mech gives you the flexibility to get what you want for your CO, we can make it work.

Skaraborg is debating asking for another machine or parts.  (PPCs mainly for parts). Both of my Awesomes are absolutely trashed and each need dedicated attention for about 6 weeks to get back in order and my parts inventory is low.  Depends on how fast we want to get back into action of course.

Dragon is contemplating on another heavy or assault if possible. But leave that if any salvage is left over.

Unit: $100MM C-Bills
Overlord Dropship Base Cost: $335,893,600
Current cost (0.51 mult for 3050): $171,305,800

Depending on where unit finances net out, I think there's a good chance we can look for a new Overlord and we'd be able to start that process at the beginning of June (rolls must be made 1st of the month).

Rob: For the Dropship availability, is that modified in the same way buying and selling other things are with it being a scrounge check and various Traits having an impact?  I would guess so, but it's in a separate section, so wanted to confirm that they're not self-contained rules.
