Reaper Lance lost a Gladiator during an earlier mission but had the funds at the time and purchased my Thunderbolt to replace it. I currently don't need a mech but I really could use CB's or something to sell.

Bright Lance has 7 mechs.

Wolverine Lance has 5 mechs and being a newer unit has lower reserve of CB as well. He did not loose a mech. If he is able to choose a mech, it would be the Crab.

Something to remember is that everyone that lost a mech is also getting 40% BLC of that mech. If everyone that lost a mech gets a brand new mech from the salvage they are gaining more than others in unit. I agree each lance needs to get a to place of being able to deploy a full lance (equal to original lance number of 4 or 2), and salvage should be used to help get them there, and everyone should receive a little salvage or CB's as well. The unit should take the CB options towards dropship and operations funds. Just my thoughts.

Mike,

Everyone will get something and getting Wolverine to 6 mechs is part of the plan. Ok, based on what people have requested so far, I have a proposal below. It’s pending in part on getting the updated unit information from Jon, so things may change.

Current thinking:

Dragon:
SHD-2K Shadow Hawk ($5,500,000)
ARC-2R Archer ($9,500,000)

Midnight:
TDR-7M Thunderbolt ($12,500,000)
PNT-9R Panther ($2,500,000)

Phoenix:
MAD-5D Marauder ($19,000,000)
PNT-9R Panther ($2,500,000)

Skaraborg:
THG-10E Thug ($16,000,000)

Ice:
FS9-H Firestarter ($3,500,000)

Wolverine:
Crab ($6,000,000)

TBD
$4.5MM remaining in equipment salvage.

All other lances $2MM to $2.5MM cash dispersement each. The plan would be to go to a factory world next for refits, so expect a few months I think to finish repairs on the way there then refit. Priority is still the Overlord, with the cash.

Thoughts?

Is getting some PPCs from the offered stockpile possible?

Also am I the only one who uses gauss rifles routinely?

I believe you are the only gauss user right now.

Hat, I would like to put a chit for the Atlas on a salvage available basis. I want to create gauss/PPC zilla.

I had planned on making the gauss Griffin a main in the lance if possible

So I wouldn't mind getting 2 spares and dropping the rest to you plus.maybe.some ammo

Ppc can be found easily but cost a bit

Also depending on what I roll out I may end up with an assault or heavy again

And considering I have 49 or 50 xp carried over it may get some stuff

The bv is

My impression is that each lot needs to be taken as a whole.  Before I consider anything more for Skaraborg, realize that while you lost a Thug you’re getting a new Thug, a Zeus, $225,000 as a bonus and 40% BLC on the Thug you lost.

Jon, right now I’ve got 4.5MM in spare salvage and the Atlas is 22MM. My suggestion if you want to do Gausszilla is to have your new PC start with an Atlas.

Correct.  I'm trying to figure out the rest of the general weapons load to the unit before I start looking further down the line.  I'm likely to wait until we start getting Marketplaces to consider anything else.

I believe our current salvage value is 181,500,000.
After subtracting all the mechs that are claimed, we are down to 126,000,000 even.

Alright so this if makes things easier

Interests

Vulcan
Javelin
Panther
Firestarter

If I can get any combination of the two I shouldn't have a need for any other mechs and should allow me to get through the contract with out a situation where I can only run 3 mechs

Ideally would be javelin or panther and Vulcan

If not finding another light mech may not be so hard

Ideally that would be what I'm after but again understand the necessities of others and unit etc

I haven't factored new bv lances yet as I dont have the pilot rolled out

I may try to do so with Rob at some point in next week if not.less.

No. 5.5+9.5+12.5+2.5+19+2.5+16+3.5+6=77MM in mechs so far.  Add 100MM in cash and we’re down to 4.5MM unallocated yet.

Brandon, adding the Firestarter brings Ice to 6 mechs not including your new CO’s ride. With 7 mechs I expect you should be able to put together multiple lance configs.

I have 3 heavies and 2 mediums plus my lance leader when he comes in so 6 mechs right now not 7

3 heavies can fit as it did before but if I want the 4th it has to be low bv medium or light like the Vulcan or javelin

I may have a little wiggle room with nodding since the cap went up but not by much

If it's an issue I'll look for a wasp or locust

With 4.5MM unallocated, I'd consider just buying a Pixie -1K outright and putting it into the unit reserve so there's a half-decent backup Mech which can be assigned to the various lighter lances (Dancer, Reaper, Wolverine, etc).  The Unit Mech Techs aren't the greatest, but they should be able to handle a Refit to a canon design that jumps (if desired), or the application of a Refit Kit, once they come online.

Side note: the salvage split discussion needs to be wrapped up by tomorrow evening, at the latest, so the Master TO&E can be updated and I can spend the 3 days it's going to take to do the line-by-line update of AtB.
