ALL PLAYERS STOP
« on: April 21, 2019, 05:33:40 PM »

As per this message, (http://forums.cincybattletech.com/index.php?topic=1171.msg19741#msg19741), we are not taking a contract in September.

All players are to, in this thread, list their planned modifications and their statuses as per 15 September.  The factory status of the work will change on that date, so need to know how much work has been done to that point on your individual modifications.  This is a "game universe" event; once all players have chimed in in this thread we will advance the timeline to 15 September.

I have yet to roll for the javelin and both griffins I had planned on doing them but wanted feedback from CO prior

The javelin wouldn't be ready to even start the final phase of modding until 8/31 and with 45ish days with a successful roll putting it prior or on October 15th

Griffin would be relatively same issue but would start 8-9  and meet requirements by 9-17 but not finished for another 13 or 14 days

The second Griffin needs 25 days from 8-9 as long as it passes

At this point I dont think it would have ended up being an ok seeing as we would have wanted to leave by 9-15 except for the 25 day Griffin as it would have most likely been done using an elite tech

My mods are simple remove a medium laser, add two CASE and maybe move a heatsink. I should be done prior to the 15th regardless.

Is my PC going to get to enter the fray early?

Rob, for mechs still being worked, how do you define completed by Sept 15?  For example, my Panther would have finished on the 12th on a successful roll.

If you haven't reached the last day of the customization attempt, then you can't roll in the first place, and your Mech is in whatever condition it's in.

If you reached the last day of customization on or before 15 September, and the roll was unsuccessful, then you essentially have a Mech with the stuff that you wanted to pull off, taken off, and everything you wanted to put on is sitting in a pile in front of it (you don't have to take time to dismount the new stuff when the attempt failed).

If you reached the last day of customization on or before 15 September, and the roll was successful, then the Mech is complete.

Those are the only three possibilities.

Rob, all equipment was stripped out of the Panther prior to landing. All of the customization work was for installation and moving some crits around. I fully agree it’s not in a functional state.  Let me know how to think about the condition it’s in or what it will take to finish it.

September 15th
Warhammer - ready (Customizations completed Sept 14)
Thunderbolt - ready (Customizations completed Sept 7)
Shadow Hawk - ready
LAM - ready
P-Hawk - ready
Panther - Customization work started Sept 5, with roll on Sept 30.  Not ready.

All pilots active.

Does this affect those in maintenance bay or just factory?

If you haven't reached the last day of the customization attempt, then you can't roll in the first place, and your Mech is in whatever condition it's in.

So all the rolls I made for customizations with the factory become inert then right? So long the time exceeds the 15th of Sept.

It's a factory event, but it will affect ALL Mechs currently in refit status as of 15 September.  Which is why I'm asking for the lance summaries as of that date to be posted.

You'll have to find that out as we advance time and you make decisions.
