I expect so, but only relevant if Grayson goes down. With his tactics of +6 and being in a command mech he’s already at the +7 that we can muster with Atayde and an available command mech.

That is a good question.  Strictly speaking, given the units deployed into the mission, the order would go:

Grayson
Lori (about whom I need to go read the source material to figure her Tactics score)
Kato (if deployed)
Whichever deployed Ranger officer is next in line

The GDL MechWarriors are all enlisted troops, and canonically the GDL infantry/vehicle officers who were deployed against the Falcons at Braunfield were all killed, so there's no viable candidates among those GDL troops.  That means that after Grayson/Lori, you guys end up being next in line.

Dunedain Lance can make a valiant last stand as the unit rearguard. Also, since Dunedain doesn't have an officer with tactics>0, it will help to have the unit commander for initiative mod and not end up in a situation where Dunedain depends on its own initiative. Plus, I won't be here in all likelihood to actually get my new PC anyway, so going out in a blaze of glory is as good an end as any.
