Shadowrun - Anyone familiar with 5th or 6th Edition?

So I'm toying around with the idea of doing some home Shadowrun and trying to figure out which edition to use.  From a setting perspective I've preferred the 2050s with deckers to the 2070s with Technomancers and Wireless Hackers.  To a certain extent I'm less concerned about deckers/hackers because if I run a home game I'd probably keep that role as an NPC thing rather than PC thing for simplicity sake.

Both 5th and 6th Editions reset back to the 2050s and are easier to get books for being the newest systems.  Does anyone have experience with either of them or good informed opinions on which is better?  I've done some reading online, but comparisons are limited.
