DeploymentRanger Deployment: Deploy onto the map within 3 hexes of the Eastern board edge prior to Turn 1

Environmental Conditions:Light Fog: +1 MP to enter each hex. This does not apply to jumping movement, and does not apply to units which are NOT using "careful movement" as per TacOps.
Pitch Black: all units suffer a +4 to hit modifier on Ranged Weapon attacks, and a +2 to hit modifier on physical attacks. For every 10 points of heat a heat-tracking unit has on the heat scale at the beginning of the turn, opponents reduce these penalties by 1. Finally, if a unit uses Running or Flanking MP this turn, any Piloting/Driving Skill Rolls required suffer a +2 penalty. Searchlights have their normal effect of reducing and/or eliminating these penalties (both for and against a searchlight-equipped unit).
Battlefield Support:None
Ranger Victory Conditions:1) Destroy or render incapable of spending MP at least 3 enemy units
2) Ensure that at least 2 of your units (including the liaison) are capable of spending MP at the end of the scenario
MOC Victory Conditions1) Destroy or render incapable of spending MP at least 3 Ranger Units
2) Take less than 4 casualties.
FWL Units must fall back and attempt to exit the board if they have taken 4+ casualties. If the Ranger player chooses, he can /victory at this time (letting them go).
Misc Rules***Exiting the battlefield requires a unit to remain stationary at the board edge for 1 turn. Only a single spent MP is required to move offboard (ie, the environments MP penalties doesn't apply; or, more specifically, the Minimum Movement rule overrides it).
***FWL MechWarriors will move to and capture ejected MechWarriors if possible, and will fire upon ejected MechWarriors if/when at least 2 of their own number are KIA. FWL vehicle crews will do neither, and will ignore ejected Ranger MechWarriors***
