Upcoming Maintenence Window

All,

Travis and myself will be doing some work on the site in general which will result in my taking the boards down for a period of time.

Plans for this work window will be:

Changing the board theme
Adding requested packages/addons
Cleaning up the ban list
Software package updates
DNS updates (namely, I'm going to have the forum simply face CincyBattletech.com and kill the package facing the front page as we don't use it and it currently belongs to the Russian Mafia anyway)

Packages to be added:
Dice Roller


There is no current date/time set for this work window as I want to minimize the disruption to us as a whole, but the forums *will* be down during this period to prevent me from doing anything stupid to the DB and corrupt the whole mess.

In addition, if there's any ideas for stuff you want done to the boards, ask me and I'll do the best I can to add them during that window.

Cincy Battletech Forums will be down from 4pm to 5 pm today for maintenance. 

Planned Additions:
New CAPTCHA system to allow new registration

CincyBattletech.com will undergo the follow changes later this week.

Updating DNS records to have forums.CincyBattletech.com simply resolve as CincyBattletech.com. The current front page will go away.
ReCaptcha tweaks
*possibly* another registration filtering package.

The DNS changes could result in site visibility being wonky during this time period.  This change is scheduled for 0100 Friday AM, and the site will be hard down during this period of time.  After the change is completed, the site will be bought up, but there could be issues until Saturday morning as DNS propagates.
