Gentleman and Ladies, I would like to take a moment to address a matter of great concern for all of us.  That is mech damage.  We cannot afford to take a large amount of damage, for any reason.  Our repair resources are slim, and our techs cannot fix whatever they want.  What would it profit us, to kill the enemy today and yet loose all our mechs.  Nothing.  Engage from long range, use our equipment and training to outcass, outthink, and outmanuever the opposition.  If you loose your mech, there are plenty of spots in the TO&E for food staff, because I do not know when if ever we will get you a new mech.

Its going to take all of us, working together, to get out of this hell.  We know what we have to do, we know our assignments, and most importantly, we know that we are the Star League Defense Force.  We are the best the Sphere has to offer.  We wear the Star on our chest and on our mechs to tell everyone that we are better than they can ever be.  Lets remind these Armis bastards what this star means as we send them all to hell.  Lets roll."

Communications chatter "Watch out fighters!!!!" several seconds pass....BOOM!!!!!!! (multiple times) ...... Halak took the brunt of that.....looks like he is alright he's still up and moving."

He begins to move his griffin again slightly dazed and teeth jarred from hitting his head.....seconds pass him moving along trying to shake off the damage just dealt to him.

Comms "Watch out three mechs 10 o'clock. Javvie is on top of you!!!!!!" the new threat seen to late....

The javelin lands beside him unleashing srms into his badly battered mech setting off two ammo bins....the same jav suddenly explodes.

He tries to stay awake the darkness closes. The concussive forces from the ammo bins exploding taking their toll... His eyes, ears, and nose begin bleeding...he tries to keep the mech upright but the darkness overcomes him. He hits his head once more from the ferocious fall that comes. Halaks mech lay there motionless....

Comms Chatter "Halaks down, Halaks down!!!"....

Whats left of his griffin is later found by the recovery team sent for him. They found his body motionless and breathless.

SUMMERY

After taking a supply depot controlled by rouge RWR elements, three POW were taken.  All were interviewed, and provided valuable intelligence about enemy force, strength, and tactics.  Interviews were conducted by SRG Xim and SRG Marshall.  Of most pressing importance, the RWR division, of which I have no knowledge and no way of ascertaining their record at the present time, is commanded by Gen. Babcock.  This name may sound familiar, as his service record is one of brutality and harsh supression.

GEN BABCOCK

Gen. Babcock is known for his specially designed vehicles that are armored in mech grade armor and armed with numerous flamers.  Babcock has used these in planet wide suppression campaigns.  While the vehicles themselves are not a great threat to our mech forces, POW expressed concern that Babcock would not hesitate to deploy vehicles against civilians in an effort to smoke us out.

2 Lieutenants and one Sargent were taken.  A brief summery of their interrogation follows

1)  Lt. Datsyuk- The LT was seriously injured, and was unable to  provide information through his heavily concussed condition.  He was provided medical attention, and will be left here.

2)  Lt. Nurkurk-  The LT claimed to be an expert in counterintelligence and Psy Ops.  However, other interviews confirmed that she was a company cook, and barely rated as a mechwarrior.   She attempted escape and was able to escape out of her restraints, but was fine when Marshall and I left her.  Comming back to follow up on some questions, it was discovered that she had committed suicide by the use of a laser pistol somehow concealed in the room.

3)  Srg. Zetterburg- The SRG proved to be a valuable source of information, and also an expert in RWR tactics.  He provided us with information that was easy to verify, and was useful in compiling this report.  He also confirmed that the RWR troops have been told that SLDF forces have gone rouge in the countryside, and that the standing orders were to report contact and engage the enemy, taking no prisoners.

lol gotta love the cooks. Always thinking they are mechwarriors at heart Yes cooks are important though we have to eat   Also did we manage to get what was up ahead of us basewise, garrison strength of any of those, and maybe patrols?
