May 1st, 3046
Anastasia Jones Saltier (wife from THEMYSCIRA Mission 5) gave birth to Alexandra Saltier, a bouncing 3.5 kilo baby girl with the expected number of limbs and her mother's emerald green eyes. Mother and child are doing fine and very happy to be leaving Thirty Weight and pirates behind.(The birth occurred during our transit to the jump point away from our pirate hunting on Thirty Weight ending SLAMMER.)

ATTN: All Rangers. Alexandra has gone from learning to walk, to learning to run. The little minx has also learned how door locks work. Anastasia is working on improving the child proofing of our quarters. Unfortunately, she's as clever of a little girl as we could ever have wished for and is determined to explore the world, all of it. If you hear giggling or other child-related noises where there shouldn't be a child, please apprehend the trouble maker and contact Anastasia. Incidentally, she has also finished teething, so the compound should be a bit quieter now. (THANK GOD!)

I would like to thank Sgt Vardakan and Cpls Dowell and Muriu for their efforts in building the playground out on the south field. Alexandra is loving it and Anastasia has already expressed her appreciation of the picnic table (and the fence, lol). She has encouraged Alexandra to write thank you notes for your efforts. Several of the other parents in the unit have also expressed their gratitude for your efforts (and amusement at your "training" efforts).

Alexandra's second birthday party will be today at 1900. The adults "surviving two years of Alexandra" party will be at 2100 or whenever Alexandra crashes, whichever comes first. I managed to source a couple of cases of beer, including a case of Timbiqui Dark, and some fine spirits. Alexandra's party will be at the picnic tables on the south field. The after party will be in the rec center. Rebecca has assured me the after party will be "memorable". Her smile when she says that sets off my incoming fire alarms...
(When Alexandra hits 18 she will become a 2/3 pilot and join the unit)
