so what your saying is essentially they could end up with a bunch of little things or nothing at all? i mean the asf if that is the case would help a lot especially on any rear hits from the bombs if they hit or even hitting in general

also at what point can an asf be salvaged
It's even more one sided than that due to damage thresholds, the Stingrays won't have nearly as many crit rolls against them as they inflict on the lighter ASFs.

As for reinforcement for next 2 missions. I say but in 2 extra lances this mission. As for the ASF's, if fog is in play won't they be limited for ground attacks once they clear the air of enemy fighters.

For the second mission like Rob said, would probably depend on who is in the best shape to respond. Reaper would have 3 fully repaired to insert if needed, I know it isn't the full lance, but it could make the difference.

Rerolls complete.  Got everything we wanted, really.

Add OPFOR Units: x2 SPD-502 Spad (5/4 pilots).  No external ordnance.  (Technical Readout: 3050 Upgrade, pp. 228-229)

North Edge

South Edge

Low-Altitude Maps:

OPFOR Reinforcements enter: Turn 5, on any edge of any North Map
PC Reinforcement enter: on any edge of any South Map
PC Air Deploy: along West edge of L-A Map; Alt 6, Vel 6
OPFOR Air Deploy: along North Edge of East Map, Alt 6, Vel 6

PCs Victory Conditions:
1) Keep more than 4 units non-destroyed (50% of 2 starting lances).  Cripples are alive as long as they can expend MP.
2)  Cripple or Destroy at least 5 OPFOR units
3) Keep any OPFOR units from exiting the south board edge

OPFOR Victory Conditions:

**FWL Vehicle units use normal abandoment rules; see Rules PDF***

Well, Spads hit that 80% of BV nicely with about as heavy a loadout as will fit. Should be a good fight.

So, cluster the Maxims into oblivion before they flank across the board...

And be very happy they have to stop for 1 turn to get off the board.

It's only the heavy Mechs that have to cross and exit the board; 65+ tons.  With that said, yes, having Maxims drive infantry up into our faces would suck.

FYI, I've packed both Maxims, 3 Vedettes (ie, Scorpions), the Canopian Hunchback Mech, the aerospace for us and the OPFOR, and have some Marik-painted Mechs all packed.  I don't have a Falcon, nor can I recall ever even seeing its mini in the wild.  I also have the aerospace record sheets (both sides) and the Canopian Hunchback record sheet printed (just in case).

I will be getting to Dan's ~9:30-9:45 to help clean up the play area and get things set up.  Folks are welcome to start rolling in ~10am; our start time wil be 10:45.  I don't have an explicit stop time for this one, but I expect to go a little later than normal, if for no other reason than people will have to leave to go get food.  There's a truly huge variety of food places less than 5 minutes from his place, but it'll still take longer than normal to cycle through lunch.

The OpFor victory condition is to get heavies across the board, but the PCs victory condition is to prevent ANY unit from crossing the board. So PCs still need to nail the Maxims to maintain the VC.

Per Dan's PM to me on directions

There's a triathalon happening that weekend, so coming in from Tylersville is NOT advised - you're better off coming approaching through US42. (See link below)

what link?

also the 75 exit to tylersville should be open per the info from local media so the route there i would think might be slow but available. so leaving early is a good thing at that point knowing this now

The link was to a map that included his address showing where to turn off of US 42. I didn't want to include it on the open board, but forgot to delete the text.

Errata: Add the word "scoring" between "OPFOR" and "Units" under PC Victory Conditions, Item 3.

Ice, you live an exit down the road.  I may just grab you on my coffee run.

Cox will be shut down between tylersville and liberty and that stretch is amusing on a good day.  It could possibly cause some wacky backups
