Just want to make sure I understand what we're doing.

• Contract ends on April 25, so this means we're currently looking at the April market
• • -Does this mean the market will refresh on May 1, or do we have to wait 30 days?
• Traveling to Canopus IV takes 32 days, which puts us on-planet May 27th, 3045
• • -If we accept a contract from the May OR June market, there's really no reason to go, as we'd be lifting off practically the moment we arrive.
• • -Does this mean our intent is to wait for the July market (assuming July 1), and use the time between 5/27 and 7/1 (approx 34 days) for rest/refit?

Sounds great to me, since I missed the last refit stop due to work stuff. I just wanted to make sure I understood the timeline so I could properly plan for it.

1) Yes, you're looking at the April Market, currently.
2) The Market will refresh on 1 May, same as normal.
3) Whether you want to look at the May, June, or July (or later) market depends on the intentions of your new CO. Depending on how long he/she/it wants to have downtime and be paying unit salaries and maintenance with no income.

Keep in mind that the contract will end early if we win this mission.
That means we could leave Aspropirgos on April 4th and land on Canopus IV in early May with ~24 days for refit before the next refresh. That would let us refit and leave for a May contract or pass on it and pick a June contract.

Assuming the contract ends early when can the new PCs start ordering spares and start doing their search rolls?
