Plans at Canopus IV and timeline for contracts (Comments?)
« on: November 11, 2017, 06:08:39 PM »

Unit plans:
We will arrive on Canopus IV in early May. The plan is to spend ~30 days on Canopus IV, plan accordingly (including for failure doubling customization time).
Unless people have a problem with this, we will pass on the May contract market (The unit/personnel market will refresh as normal each month.).

With two new units coming into play as soon as end of contract, maybe have those two do a contract in may with someone whose unit is ready to run while others who need to make repairs to take a break. This would keep things running smoothly and keep the funds coming in.

that wouldnt necessarily work because we dont want to charter transport we own our own and taking a contract elsewhere would be leaving part of unit if they are refit in factory

So did we win and is the contract over, because if it is I need to roll out my prisioner to see my pilot status.

Right now, I have three mechs.  My avatars, a working wolvie and a headless wolvie with an engine hit.  I also now have a shiny new head sitting in storage.

Pilots is slightly rougher.  My avatar is fine, the working wolverine pilot is fine, and I have a dispossed light elite pilot.

We won, the contract is over, and we are heading to Canopus IV for refit. It will take us approximately a month to get there. Once there we will have access to factory level support for customization. We will stay until at least the June market and contract refresh.

Rob will be busy until ~Monday, an so won't be finishing up endof contract details until then.

Also, remember that battle loss compensation (40%) for lost mechs will hit at end of contract as well.

Depending on how my warehouse rolls work out for delivery on canopus my awesome would appreciate some rack time for ease of customization.  My dervish can be done in a dropship bay without issues.

That said if a contract near canopus shows up it may not be the worst idea to split the party

Remember you have April's rolls and May's because we won't get there until early May. What are you looking for that you won't be able to reliably buy in 2 months?

I note that there is a Crusader currently on the market for 85% cost at ~4.8 million cbills and an 80% cost Vindicator for ~2.5 million.

Double heat sinks, gauss ammo primarily.

I'm going to repair Orion and Crusader, do factory level custom (possible engine swap on Crusader), and if I feel I have time do DHS swap also.

At this time mechs pretty much will be done setting turn 4 earliest still to reinforce I could potentially move a bit of bv off 01 swapping in sl for the ml if I can get enough bv I'll go the warhammer change but it will be ferro
And will need to order more again in June but max that will help is turn 3 so is it worth it to change the warhammer (only lose 6 damage with ferro swap)
