Water-cooled desktop
« on: January 15, 2018, 09:30:49 PM »

Anyone on here know of the best company or site to buy water cooling components for a desktop? I have a Thermalcore 900 case so I have the space and the ability to do it so any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks

My biggest suggestion is to practice water cooling on a secondary computer for your first custom job. There are some noob mistakes that can be very expensive and destructive. Better to make them on a computer you will be replacing anyway, than on your premier gaming rig. For the most part this means that you are only really out some tubing to then rebuild your cooling loop in your main PC. This is assuming you have two computers with standard fittings.

True. I just got 6 more fans for it for now until I am ready to go more into this project.

Have you considered the prebuilt (and sealed) loops? I can understand a custom loop, but there are some big pluses to prebuilt systems like Corsair's CPU and GPU water cooling, like much better sealing and generally easier fitting. Obviously, they aren't as cool as a UV active coolant in UV transparent tubing with fiberoptics and LEDs in the fittings, but...

Back when I had the time, money, blood pressure I'd be all over doing a custom loop - but these days if I were to water cool - listen to this man here.
