I believe I said something about being cocky about time and upcoming missions...

Awesome, Catapult, Phawk and Zeus are ready to roll.  The gulp was more for seeing a battalion of enemy forces.

Awesome, Catapult, Phawk and Zeus are ready to roll.  The gulp was more for seeing a battalion of enemy forces.
I am just glad they aren't upgraded. A 2/5 Archer is a lot less scary when it has to stop firing occasionally to cool off, even when standing still.
Also, I want to see your Awesome against their Awesome in a grudge match. Get the mud pit going in the center map... It'll be Awesome!

Consider it done.  Depending on the BV constraints I may drop two assaults and the phawk.

Fortress City might be a good place to start...
Weather could also be worthwhile, get another snow storm...

Map size may be an issue to consider. 50x50 with that many units. It will probably be a 3x3 in mapsheets.

Freya has 3 tactics vs. 2 for Ice and Skaraborg, therefore Freya is lead.

Freya should probably be CO on this one.

In addition, I've talked to our CO about this and he gave me permission to bring this up with the group as a whole.  I ran some numbers, and between hiring a pilot and getting another pilot classified into Assault category, I can actually drop the following:

Awesome
Zeus
Highlander

I'm currently without the services of my Dervish, and because of the way the BV works out, I can only drop 3 'Mechs on Op6.  However, I can drop all 3 of our available assault class 'Mechs.

Thoughts?
