Also, please get your dice blessed/exorcised... I have a specialist helping me on that on Friday. The holy water cost a fortune, but...

You could just take their dice away so they cannot make shots....

Absolutely possible. I have had games across multiple systems (CBT, D&D, etc.) where I did more damage to myself than the enemy did to me. I had one clicky warrior tournament where crit misses accounted for 94% of damage done to me. That tournament, my force was completely eliminated twice.

I do not play many role play games. Played Cthulu once while still in the Navy. All my stat rolls were stupid high, but ended up knocking myself out in the end while in a ship full of zambos. We were supposed to meet up for more before one by one, we were getting orders and being separated. Then when I joined this group thanks to Brandon, I was generally doing Opfor while dealing with my school work so I did not do much campaign wise up until the last one we did before this.

My ability to generate a dice screw should never be under estimated. One of my D&D characters ended up running a gigolo service/being a sex slave for swamp hags due to something like 30+ failed will saves. The poor sod was a fighter with with massive strength and endurance, contributing to his survival against the swamp hags' diseases. The fortitude saves vs. disease was low enough/my bonuses were high enough that even my luck couldn't make me miss more than about 3-4 in a row. So he'd sleep with a hag, catch a disease, begin wasting away, and then save vs. the disease and do it all over again. It got bad enough (and the rest of the party abandoned me) that the DM had the big bad bitch of a witch slaughter the swamp hags and take me for her own. When the party finally got around to beating the witch, he'd been a captive sex toy for 4 months (failing to make saves the whole time...). The DM gave me two quest "bonuses" and a quest award. The quest award was a +3 save vs. disease. The bonuses were less flattering. "Weak Willed" a -2 save vs. mind control for having failed 4 months of will saves and "Desecrated Flesh" a -4 charisma check to get laid by any female in the normal humanoid range (with a +4 for hags, trolls, and witches...).

Another character pulled a Gamers: Dorkness Rising (https://youtu.be/2Ohk5Swy-04) hiding behind a pile of dead him.

And so on...

If you keep failing your rolls, you're going to have a bad time.

Sorry, but I'm on quite a lot of painkillers due to a worse-than-normal problem with my bad foot/ankle.  This seems funny to me right now.

I wish medication would help me. Went through 13 for GI problems then another 5 for my neurological issue. After 3 days, my tolerance kicks in and the medication becomes useless to the point where I only get side effects.

I have ritually burned the old dice. Purchased new dice. Found them to be contaminated as well. Cleansed them by fire. Wash rinse repeat.

Thankfully I have not generally needed much on the medication front, but I am functionally immune to the pain killing effects of opioids. Makes post surgery a fun time. Compound that with docs who don't adjust dosage with with body mass and I always look forward to surgery with such glee.

I am glad i have not reached the requirements of surgery. I am also glad I was rated at 60 through the va before the navy took away my retirement.

So with both missions going on the same day, we technically will not get a battle end report until the 2nd mission is resolved right?
