DeploymentOPFOR Deploy: Deploys between 8 and 12 Mechs within 10 hexes of board center. May keep up to 4 Mechs, each weighing no more than 60 tons, in reserve.
PC Deploy: Each Lance must declare starting map prior to game start. Enters from Eastern Board Edge (anywhere) as per initiative order (units may choose to use Jump MP to enter map).
OPFOR Reserve Deploy: After PC deployment maps have been selected, Reserve Mechs may be deployed up to 15 hexes from the board center
OPFOR Reinforcement Deploy: Enters from Western Half Board Edge (anywhere) as per initiative order (units may choose to use Jump MP to enter map). Reinforcements may not enter within 10 hexes of an enemy unit.
PC Reinforcement Deploy: Enters from Eastern Half Board Edge (anywhere) as per initiative order (units may choose to use Jump MP to enter map). Reinforcements may not enter within 5 hexes of an enemy unit.
Environmental Effects: None.
Battlefield SupportRangers may choose up to 10 BSP worth of support.
Draconis forces receive an allowance of 60% of the Ranger choices (there is a BSP floor they will not go below). Draconis Forces have moved significant air assets into the area, and will receive at least 2 randomized air attack choices and at least 1 randomized air defense choice for no cost.
-Note that OPFOR air support can target PC Battlefield artillery support. This can be countered by Air Cover as per normal. The specific artillery vehicle targeted will be randomized.
PCs Victory Conditions:1) Move at least 1 Mech to within 3 hexes of *each* non-PC deployment board corner (may be different Mechs), remain stationary** for 2 turn.
2) Return a mech which has achieved Condition 1 to within 3 hexes of the deployment board edge.
3) Exit the Mech which has met Conditions 1 & 2 from the board using normal rules for leaving the board.
4) Destroy (make incapable of spending MP) at least 6 OPFOR Mechs to establish control over the battlefield.
BOTH 1 & 2 CONDITIONS MUST BE MET IN FULL FOR SCENARIO VICTORY
**This precludes using a LAM in aerospace fighter mode for scouting.
OPFOR Victory Conditions:1) Destroy or cripple at least 4 PC units
2) Destroy at least one Lance Leader's Mech
3) Keep at the Western Board Edge from being successfully scouted
4) Keep any Mechs which have scouted the Western Board Edge from exiting the battlefield (this counts as being completed if the WBE isn't scouted at all).
***EXTING THE BATTLEFIELD***
Exiting the battlefield requires a unit to remain stationary at the board edge for 1 turn. Only a single spent MP is required to move offboard (ie, the environments MP penalties doesn't apply; or, more specifically, the Minimum Movement rule overrides it).
