i am assuming no bsp

as far as spa i mean its already a 2/1 pilot so idk if it would be overkill or not


also what maps tend to be swamps

also what table would the drac have to roll on for mech choice

Duels basically revolve around the Mech and pilot you choose to fight against them.  The bigger the Mech you choose, the bigger the Mech they get, and vice versa (though there does seem to be about a 30-ton floor which they won't go below).  It's a normal roll on the Drac Mech table for what the enemy ace actually pilots.  Additionally, Aces will *always* have at least 1 SPA, and if your pilot has more, they'll usually get more.

No BSP during solo missions in general and duels in particular.

I have no idea what swamps in AtB look like, because I re-roll the living hell out of that result if/when it comes up.  Generally speaking, you should be familiar with the mud rules (including the rules for getting stuck if you jump into a mud hex), and expect quite a lot of trees and shallow water.

Rerolling terrain automatically rerolls maps based on valid map types in the new terrain. Obviously, some maps can come up under multiple terrains, so it's possible to reroll terrain and get the same map, but unlikely.

This is essentially "Large Mountain 1 & 2", plus Box Canyon, and placing a ton of "Rubble" counters on the map.  Do recall the difference between "Rough" and "Rubble".

im debating on keeping canyon

i could get lucky and he could have a slow unit or a unit with lack of jj

also im debating on who to throw against him considering he gets an spa and probably edge while my lancemates have spa its not enough to offset the difference in gunnery

only real option is to take my pc which will end up giving more spa

then the choice of mech comes in

heavy is most likely the go to here just because it forces in most cases a lower mod so i can dump as much damage from range as i can before it closes. if it doesnt get it at range i have to make sure that it cant get where i dont want it to

anything lighter the mods come into play
