Morale point of surrender while being inferno'd
« on: November 19, 2018, 01:22:32 PM »

Is there a point where a pilot will surrender because they are being hit with infernos?
Note, this more of a roleplay question than a hard number. Several canon mechs can be inferno'd to perpetual shutdown and have ammo to explode. Is there a point where they will call it quits before they explode?

Morale Checks begin on page 211 of TacOps.  We are not using them because, a) they require a roll for every unit which was fired upon, every turn, and b) they are hideously broken to the extent that Veteran and Elite MechWarriors essentially cannot fail Morale Checks.

If the event occurs where CGL releases a set of functional Morale rules which can be added to record sheets and easily tracked, we will certainly give them a look.  But the existing rules simply do not qualify as functional because as a practical matter, they affect only infantry and about half of combat vehicles.

Yes and there’s matching napalm lipstick.

I need to get a canon mech named after a pig. Call it the Boar or something. Then put napalm lipstick on it and name it BBQ.
