Dan, what are you considering as “strategic level assets”?

I prefer the term "potential sacrifices"

Either way, Since I now have mostly long range units, I will request to be placed onto Defend for the time being until I can get some more faster units.

The reinforced company is possibly the better option

Allows for some rotation within the company in short time frame of ot comes to just the company

Given the almost 2 lances of vehicles and 2 air lances, I’d recommend adding Delta Company to the reinforced company plan as the Support Company named “Gandalf’s Fellowship”.

Or Frodo’s Fellowship for the alliteration.

Okay, time to sew this up. So far, only Paul and Paul have expressed interest in command/XO status. Given that, we will go with the three company approach with a Paul leading Bravo and Charlie companies.

Hat XO 1-3
Deadly XO 4-6
Rolled 1d6 : 4, total 4

This dice roll has been tampered with!
Rolled 1d6 : 4, total 4

My only question / concern about the random approach is what happens when Dunedain leaves?  Arguably XO steps up to CO, 3iC moves to XO.  If that's the case then I'd rather a more deliberative approach to selecting the next CO.  If it is strictly for the next Contract and natural promotion progression doesn't apply for the one after I'm fine with things as they stand.

CO promotion will be subject to group vote.

For the record, depending on contract length, I am likely to step down as CO after this contract. So both Paul's can consider how to pitch their leadership t the reast of the group.
