Side note: the salvage split discussion needs to be wrapped up by tomorrow evening, at the latest, so the Master TO&E can be updated and I can spend the 3 days it's going to take to do the line-by-line update of AtB.

I'm assuming we would need to wrap up my character by that point and well

Dragon:
SHD-2K Shadow Hawk ($5,500,000)
ARC-2R Archer ($9,500,000)

Midnight:
TDR-7M Thunderbolt ($12,500,000)
PNT-9R Panther ($2,500,000)

Phoenix:
MAD-5D Marauder ($19,000,000)
PNT-9R Panther ($2,500,000)

Skaraborg:
THG-10E Thug ($16,000,000)

Ice:
FS9-H Firestarter ($3,500,000)

Wolverine:
CRB-27 Crab ($6,000,000)

Unit Reserve:
PXH-1K Phoenix Hawk ($4,500,000)

$50,000,000 C-Bills
$50,000,000 C-Bills

Total: $181,500,000 C-Bills

I am okay with this.
It is the most ideal in using every bit we can get.
I was thinking 3 million per lance, but I am sure nobody will complain about 2 or 2.5 mil.

Brandon, adding the Firestarter brings Ice to 6 mechs not including your new CO’s ride. With 7 mechs I expect you should be able to put together multiple lance configs.

I have 3 heavies and 2 mediums plus my lance leader when he comes in so 6 mechs right now not 7

3 heavies can fit as it did before but if I want the 4th it has to be low bv medium or light like the Vulcan or javelin

I may have a little wiggle room with nodding since the cap went up but not by much

If it's an issue I'll look for a wasp or locust

Ok, we may be talking past each other. I’ve already got you down for the Firestarter which has a BB of 694. That should give you flexibility for lance configurations. If you’d prefer one of the other lights not asked for, let me know and we can change it.

@Dan I expect we’d be on a factory planet for a month. I’d want to give people enough time to order parts for customization and then get the changes made. That will give you time to order the PPCs you need as well as make other changes.

People should have cash. If being outside of a contract for a few months to get to a world, buy and install parts is going to be a financial burden let me know and we’ll work something out.

I haven’t heard from Steve, but I think I’ve heard from everyone else. If you’ve got any last minute concerns or requests, let me know. I’ll make my decisions by Rob’s deadline tomorrow.

It was part clarification and update of list for flexibility for cbills if you decide you want to pick up the shadowhawk instead of a phawk the drop from 3.5 for firestarter to 2.5 for a panther gives that extra mill. It's more consideration to throw a little extra cbills at something if necessary is all

Whatever of those you on the updated request list you wish to dish out to me is fine by me if I end up getting one at all.

Also I misread your post at a glance my apologies

7 would definitely allow some flexibility for the lance but will run into an issue as soon as the light mech dies. I can try to find another light mech when we hit the new world

Fair enough.  I'd like to spent 6 weeks on planet if possible for parts and so forth to catch up but if a good gig shows up, I'll finish repair in transit

Brandon, I get where you’re coming from. If the unit had a light mech in reserve to provide if needed along with you getting the Javelin, would that address your concern?  You might have to buy it from the unit, depending on the circumstances but at least it would be there.

Do remember the transportation funds we will be getting as well.

I'll finish updating the TO&E tonight.

I missed the cash disbursement.  PPC/chassis request removed.

I was just giving my thoughts, were all good. Do what you guys need to do for the good of the unit. I need at least a light to make sure I can field a fourth mech. Im just giving you the option of what you want to toss at me as CO so delegating is easier if you agree to for sure give me it unless someone else is in more dire needs. I am good with whatever light mech you throw at me in that case. I just gave the preferences as to which would be more usable and live longer possibly that can keep a low bv. I am good with the one mech seeing as how we want the salvage split and can try to find another once we hit the planet as its sure to have mechs.  (^_^)b

If there happens to be a light mech in the reserve then we can discuss later on if we need to but the money now can be used elsewhere. if you want the extra mill cbills to pick up the shadowhawk instead of the phawk for the reserve drop the firestarter to a panther. I can try to make that work with my lance as a ppc or mpl boat. I can take the javelin and try to make a inferno bomb again but wont be as good as the prior. The vulcan can be a ml or mpl boat as well. They all can work and come out to 600 bv or 900 ish bv with some tweaking.

Revised TO&E posted. It does not include salvage. It does include the contract cash and transportation reimbursement.

Ok, here I am.  I have not had a chance to do more than look at the board a little.  I did loose PXH-3M [had XLeng].  Less than some but expensive to replace.  To be fair, I was thinking of selling royal PHawk before the loss.  Now I think I will just modify it after it is repaired.  The BLC for the PXH-3M at 40% should be around 4M cbills.  I am doing ok.  Some spare PPC's would be nice.  I will try to get more done tomorrow and Friday.  FYI, Sgt Jeff Smith, pilot of Dancer 3 [PXH-3M] had one point of edge and used it to survive the destruction of his mech.  The only casualty is Mech tech Castro.  I will update retirement rolls and TO&E as soon as I can.

Thanks for the feedback and the requests.  Final salvage assignments are below.  All lances should now have at least 6 mechs.  Please make sure to update the Google Docs sheets appropriately to reflect the changes.  With the additional money from the salvage, we do have enough to go for the Overlord.  We'll begin the search at first opportunity.  Next stop will be a factory world, arriving sometime in August and probably not leaving until sometime in September or beginning of October based on when we'd need to depart for contracts.  The goal is to have time to land on planet, place order for equipment, have it arrive and install it before leaving or at least get a large part completed before moving on.  Leaving at the beginning of October means 5 months expenses, no income.  Plan appropriately.  I'm still finalizing the specific destination and have a question out to Rob.

Final Salvage Assignments

Dragon:
SHD-2K Shadow Hawk ($5,500,000)
ARC-2R Archer ($9,500,000)

Midnight:
TDR-7M Thunderbolt ($12,500,000)
PNT-9R Panther ($2,500,000)

Phoenix:
MAD-5D Marauder ($19,000,000)
PNT-9R Panther ($2,500,000)
COM-2D Commando ($2,500,000)

Skaraborg:
THG-10E Thug ($16,000,000)

Ice:
JVN-10N Javelin ($3,000,000)

Wolverine:
RB-27 Crab ($6,000,000)

Unit
COM-2D Commando ($2,500,000)
$100MM C-Bills

Other Lances
Bright, Crusher, Dancer, Dunedain, Freya, Reaper - additional dispursement of $2.5MM C-Bills per lance ($15MM total expended)

For those of us who need to do work in transit *cut shot to see an Awesome where a PPC falls out of the bottom to a loud clang and somehow, a couple of birds* who is currently in bays and who is in cargo?

I would like to keep two awesomes, zeus, highlander in bays.  The rest can go as cargo.

I was thinking of putting mechs that are in need of repair from last 3 missions should be put up first and anything else be held off.

For Mech bays in transit, priority is given to battle damage repair.  The Dictator can hold on average 3 mechs per lance.  Lance Commanders, please note how many bays you're requesting and whether it's required (fix battle damage) or preferred (refit prep).

Example:
Midnight
Warhammer - NEEDED
Phoenix Hawk - NEEDED
Panther - Preferred

Also, I realized that Freya's sitting at 5 'mechs rather than 6.  I'd glanced at the Google Docs sheet and you hadn't updated it for losing the Rifleman, so you showed 6.  The unit can offer the other Commando if you'd prefer that to the cash.  Your call.
