So curious as to what quirks would even be applicable on Griffin

I know the small laser applies stuff like accurate weapon cooling jacket or stabilized weapon but what would it take to get a consideration for say improved overall targeting range small or long or modular weapons?

Also considering its a myomer change would there be a chance at say extended torso twist or hyper extending actuators?

Depends entirely on the nature of the refit.  In the case of your Griffin refit specifically, HE-Actuators and Extended Twist would almost certainly be on the list.  The most likely other possibilities offhand would be Easy to Pilot, Protected Actuators, Stable, Accurate Weapon (SL), Stabilized Weapon (SL), and Improved Cooling Jacket (SL)

And I'm not about to define anything any further than that, because I don't want to have to deal with people trying to repeat refits explicitly for Quirks.

Ok that makes sense was trying to get an understanding on what may affect what as far as myomer changes considering it was the same default actuators etc

Wasn't sure exactly if a defined range of motion was built into the CT itself or the actuator itself or if its more controlled via myomer

Apply "Modular Weapon" quirk to the 7 pulse lasers involved in this refit, as per the 2nd paragraph option in that quirk (BMM, pg 85).

Following the meeting as everyone left Moon stood up and straightened out his dress uniform turning for the door behind Kato. "Colonel one more issue to discuss at your office if there is some time. Shouldnt take long."

After reaching the office he closes the door behind them.

"I have the final totals for the modifications we discussed. I appreciate the extra help with the bays on the way out from the last contract and of course the extra down time for other modifications. I had been meaning to get you more info specifics wise but before we get into all that I will say congratulations first. Its nice to see someone who has some honor make some headway in the worlds."

Pausing a moment he begins pacing

"He says ive gotten a bit over my head in parts orders on those new TSM components. Not in the sense of I'm negative in my accounts. The money is of course there but ive spent quite a bit. The final bill for parts and factory time is 13,109,575 before Januarys order goes out."

He looks back over at the door still pacing but looking as if expecting someone to come in and begins.

"Good news is I think it was worth it. I'm fairly well stocked at this point for repairs if needed, short a few things which may end up needing an additional couple mil at most. I'm sitting around 8 mil for the lance as of 1/1 but the master tech down at the factory really took a liking to the Griffin I brought in. Noticed something with the older model Griffin that technology seems to have forgotten and he said he had some type of good surprise following the successful completion. I'm to go look at it at some point in next day or so."

Still uneasy he finally stops and is expecting a chewing out for spending over 13 mil which may or may not have come in the form of a hand rubbing Katos temple.

"May as well give you the remainder on the others as well. that was the good news and here is some mixed. The Ostscout found some gremlins during its upgrade as Im sure you were told by the factory liason. Wasn't pretty the internals were just in bad shape. Luckily all the good stuff was well maintained with electronics but more so issues in the mounting and spacing brackets were eroded. Luckily they were able to get the thing back to near perfect shape ad more right before your ceremony."

The Awesome we finally figured out what happened with the internals and armor. During the initial rework and repair there were several housing units that were not fit for continued use and they were anyway. Ive already given the tech an absolute talking to about replacing those. Nothing like having the old school armor slabs falling off like they used to long ago right? The new tech pointed it out but was a bit over exaggerated on how timely they were to get it fixed on first go round. Luckily they were able to and the poor workmanship of the upgrade are gone but it took double the time when they actually got to work. Shes like new and ready to go however."

That was about all for my report that you most likely already knew considering how ahead you are at times. Also here is a small gift from my personal and unit stash."

He pulled out some Quillar and Timbiqui Whiskey.

"Quillar for the kids and a bit of whiskey for a hard day. Its not Dark but its not like Timbiqui's only good beverage is Dark. Could be a good one to put away and share with the kid some day."

SGT Parameter, Reaper Lance’s top tech, goes to LTSG Wilhelm’s office as requested. She enters and salutes. Wilhelm returns the salute. “Thanks for naturally taking charge of the tech team and now that the team is expanding. I am promoting you to LTJG and putting you officially in charge of the techs in Reaper Lance.” Parameter smiles and says “Thank you sir.” Wilhelm smiles back and continues, “Now to the first order of business of your new command. I have received 2 burner copies of Clan tech manuals. I want you to choose 2 of the techs, with you in consideration as well, to go through the course. You get a max of 40 days once opened to complete it. I was told it should take 30 days.” Parameter looks puzzled for a second then smiles again “you have been talking to ole’ Felix again haven’t you?” “I forgot that was when you joined the old unit after he was injured. One last thing. He finally got that last beer to me that I have been teasing him about since then.” Wilhelm slides the 6 pack of beer across his desk, “and you know I gave this stuff up a long time ago after I almost drank myself to death trying forget…” He trails off and she softly responds “It wasn’t your fault and he knew it was the only option.” Wilhelm looks at the dog tags of LTJG Edmondson that are on his desk and says “Losing any pilot under your command is hard.”  Then looks up at Parameter “Your brother was one of the best pilots I ever had under my command.” Then he smiles and looks at the beer, “you better get that out of here and get back to work. Those mechs aren’t going to put themselves back together.” With a big salute and smile she says, “Yes sir.” Then turns and leaves the office.
