Before I select rerolls, which of the opposing forces have lights?  Trying to figure out if it’s worth going for darkness.

Before I select rerolls, which of the opposing forces have lights?  Trying to figure out if it’s worth going for darkness.

Both Shads, the Griffin, and all 4 Drillsons.

CORRECTION: I thought the Drillson was a different hovertank.  No searchlights on them.

Agreed. At the beginning I also had 5 rerolls, so figured it was worth going for something darker.

Deployment
Ranger Deployment: Enter onto the West side of the map during your initiative count on Turn 1

MOC Deployment: Separate Mechs into 4-Mech lances.  Deploy 1 lance within 3 hexes of the eastern board edge on the northern map; Mechs cannot be closer than 3 hexes from one another.  Deploy 1 lance within 3 hexes of the eastern board edge on the southere map; Mechs cannot be closer than 3 hexes from one another.  The closest member of each lance cannot be within 8 hexes of one another.  Finally, the lance of vehicles enters onto the board on the eastern board edge during its initiative count on Turn 1.

MOC Reinforcements: Enter onto the eastern board edge on their initiative count.

Environmental Conditions:
Full Moon Night: Apply a +2 to-hit modifier to weapon attacks (searchlights have their usual effects; the MOC Shadow Hawks and Griffin all have searchlights).  Any weapon attacks against a target which has a heat level of 20+ gains a -1 to hit bonus.

Map Changes: Each water hex is instead a Clear hex, with an elevation equal to its listed Depth.  Prior to the game, the Ranger player gets 3 Light Woods and 1 Heavy Woods token to place into former Water hexes.  Prior to the game, the MOC players gets 5 Light Woods and 2 Heavy Woods hexes to place into Level 1 or lower terrain *inside the craters* on the Moonscape mapsheet, or on the highest points of any mountain on the Desert Mountain mapsheets (may be split between mapsheets).  Finally, all Pavement Hexes are instead Clear terrain.

Battlefield Support:
None

Ranger Victory Conditions:
1) Destroy or render incapable of spending MP at least 4 enemy units
2) Ensure that at least 2 of your units (including the liaison) are capable of spending MP at the end of the scenario
Rangers may declare victory if they have taken less than 3 casualties and caused 4 or more casualties.

MOC Victory Conditions
1) Destroy or render incapable of spending MP at least 2 Ranger Units
2) Take less than 4 casualties.

Misc Rules
1) Exiting the battlefield requires a unit to remain stationary at the board edge for 1 turn.  Only a single spent MP is required to move offboard (ie, the environments MP penalties doesn't apply; or, more specifically, the Minimum Movement rule overrides it).

2)The MOC forces will attempt to capture ejected MechWarriors for ransom instead of shooting them.

Can MoC pilots be captured?  They also follow the must exit destroyed mech rules, correct?

Yeah?  Why wouldn't they?

Unless you mean vehicle pilots.  OPFOR vehicle crews just scatter and vanish.

I am compositing the SPA list for Ryan now.

ADDENDUM: The Scorpion has a searchlight system.  Next to the front right leg.  I outright forgot to check the Reinforcements for searchlights.
